Discover Delves: A highly anticipated dungeon crawler feature filled with new monsters, biomes, and treasures as you dive deep to face unique challenges that lurk below! The Trove Delves update is now available across all platforms (PS4, Xbox 1, and PC).

Delves are new, endless dungeon experiences that you and your group will have to overcome obstacles, enemies, and time constraints in order to open your exciting rewards! The Delve difficulty comes customly catered towards the daring Trovians in each Delve.

Race against the clock to clear the bee-infested caverns of The Hive or the crate-laden, pirate-haunted caves of Flakbeard's Hideaway to take yourselves to deeper depths! Rescue Geodians, craft battle flags from the times of yore, and stop the corrupted bosses from all across Trove from breaking out of the Delves.

Each Delve comes with its own set of rules, defined by Deltaliths. These Deltaliths represent anything from additional HP on individual enemies to locking you to one jump, ensuring that the challenges below are different from the ones above!

The process is simple: queue up, drop in, slay enemies, survive the boss and net yourself some sick loot. Do this within the time limit and you’ll be allowed to open the portal to the next floor, where a deeper and more difficult Delve awaits you!

Delves
• Delves are a new type of gameplay, combining the Geode caves with procedurally generated endless combat! Run through a Delve, complete the objectives, and then defeat the boss quickly for rewards and the opportunity to keep going deeper! As the Depth increases, so do the challenges and the rewards.
• There are 3 kinds of Delves – Public Delves, Private Delves, and Challenge Delves, each with their own set of rules.
• Once queued for a Delve of any type, the player will stay queued even after going to another world (there will be a bright delve “idea” glowing overhead and a delve queue icon under the HP bar as a reminder.)
• Players who log out while queued will be unqueued.
• Up to eight players total can enter any Delve. In Private Delves players can be invited after the Delve has started, but in Public and Challenge Delves players can only rejoin if they were part of the original Delve queue.
• Delves allow players to use their modules from the geode caves as well as engaging in combat – unlike adventure worlds where players switch between combat and build mode, in Delves players switch between combat and discovery mode.
o The final rank of Path Painter upgrade only applies in the Geode Caves.
o The Shield Barrier has different behavior in Geode Caves and in Delves. In Delves it:
Lasts 60+ seconds (scales as it is upgraded)
Reduces incoming damage by 15-35%
Combines with a level 6+ Vaca-matic if also equipped, allowing the shield to pull in enemies when struck while active
o The Thumper rank 7 upgrade also causes it to make Delve enemies visible through walls.
• Delves are dangerous, and death matters! Each time a Trovian dies, they must wait 5+ seconds before they can release. This time increases each time the Trovian dies. This timer is reset each time a boss is reached, and has no impact on how long it takes to resurrect other players.
• Releasing in a Delve will return the player to the beginning of that Tier.
• An "Intra-Delve Transport"--conveniently placed at the beginning of each Delve Tier--can be interacted with to transport a player to the forward-most checkpoint in the Delve.
• Clearing any room of all its enemies in a Delve Tier will make it a checkpoint, as indicated by a shaded-in blue background on the Delve-room display (where the compass is normally).
• When a boss is activated, any players still working their way through the path to the lair will be offered a teleport to the lair room to join in the fight. If the prompt is missed (possibly due to food delivery!), the player might miss out on the loot but will still teleport you to the group in deeper depths.
• Delves have modifiers signified by Deltaliths, visible in the first room and in the lair room. There are many of these modifiers, including ones that make enemies only take damage in melee range, have reduced health and take extra damage, increase or reduce their Darkness stat, and many more.
• Deltaliths at the entrance of Delves will appear next to the trophy of the enemy they affect.
• Delve themed Adventures can be found in the Delve building in the hub as well as occasionally after a delve level is completed.
• Delves are themed around existing biomes with a few surprises.
• The hive delves introduce a new liquid, honey! Honey increases health regen for players who stand in it, but will also dismount and slow down movement. (There are no fish that can survive in honey – it’s the birds and the bees, not the fish and the bees.)
• Before the Cursed Skulls will spawn in a given Delve Tier, players must complete an objective such as defeating a certain number of enemies, gathering Crystals, or gathering Ore,
• A boss trophy appears before every Boss Lair to give a quick indication of what boss players will be facing. The lair will also have Deltaliths indicating what challenges will accompany the boss.
• If the boss is reached and defeated fast enough, a Ready Station will appear. Interact with it and stay close by to speed up how fast the portal to the next level will appear!
• If the team took too long to reach or defeat the boss, a sign will appear and not allow access to the next delve level. Don’t worry – the next delve is always just a queue away.
• Flasks automatically refill once the boss is summoned and at the start of each new Delve Tier.
• Pell is available after the lair boss is defeated to allow players to switch between modules. Other NPCs and helpful adventuring objects might also appear after the boss is defeated.
• Expert Delvers may learn to spot signs in the Delve path that will indicate which way leads to the lair – it can be easy to get turned around in the middle of combat. Note that while these indicators are useful, some harder delves may have this indicator removed.
• Only 78 consecutive depths can be completed in a single delve run; upon reaching the 78th consecutive depth players will receive a message asking them to restart the delve and not allowing them to progress further.
• Stealthed Neon Ninjas can walk through the Blocky Components present in the Neon Underground delve biome.

Public Delves
• To enter a Public Delve, find the Public Delve Queue Portal in the hub where the Bomber Royale building used to be located, then just interact with the portal to enter the queue. The maximum amount of time spent in the queue should be no more than 10 minutes. Interact with the portal again at any time to unqueue from the public delve.
• A Delve entrance can also be found in the Geode hub down by the Geode cave portals.
• The difficulty of Public Delves is determined by the Public Delve Score for the queued class of each player that ends up in the Delve group.
• When queuing for a public delve, be aware that only the class active when queuing will be allowed. Private and Challenge Delves allow switching between classes at any time.
• The Bomber Royale portal is still available in the hub – look for it and the merchants in a small tent near where they used to be located.
• /joinme can be used to reinvite players who may have disconnected, but cannot be used to invite new players into a Public Delve.

Private Delves
• The difficulty of Private Delves is determined by the Public Delve Score for the queued classes at the time the Delve starts.
• A “Delve Gateway (Private)” – craftable at the Delve Workbench in the hub – can be placed anywhere, but once placed anyone can use it to register for that Delve.
• A single Gateway can be placed while in build mode. Placing the Gateway will automatically queue the player for the Private Delve. Up to seven more players can use the placed Gateway to be queued with the owner.
• The owner of a Private Delve Gateway can interact with it to proceed; the first interaction will send a message to all queued players to get ready, and the second interaction will rush the queue and send everyone in to the Delve. If at any time a full set of eight players are queued, the Gateway will immediately trigger and force everyone in to the Delve.
• If a Gateway is broken using the mining laser, it will return to the destroyer’s inventory and unqueue all queued players. If at any point there are no players nearby, it will unqueue everyone and destroy itself.
• Private Delves allow players to change their class at will.
• The /joinme command can be used to invite more players (up to a maximum of eight unique players can join a single Delve).
• Note that Private Delves are much stricter on what items and mounts can be used. Only Delve mounts and wings may be used.

Challenge Delves
• Challenge Delves are a fair playing field for all teams of delvers to compete against each other to see who can go furthest.
• “Delve Gateway (Challenge Mode)” and “Delve Gateway (Challenge Easy)” can both be crafted at the Delve Workbench in the hub.
• In standard Delves, every new Depth gives you a random Biome. You may find bees at Depth 110 in one Delve, and the Neon Underground at Depth 110 in another Delve. A “new” “Depth 110” is generated each time you visit a Depth 110 Public or Private Delve. In Challenge Delves, though, Depth 110 is only generated once each week, and all players must compete against the same monsters, the same objectives, and the same bosses to see who can get the Deepest, and who can do so the Fastest.
• Challenge Delves start at Depth 110.
• Any time a group successfully moves past a floor in Challenge Mode, the Challenge Delve Depth is saved. Every time a “Delve Gateway (Challenge Mode)” is placed it starts at the saved Challenge Delve Depth. “Delve Gateway (Challenge Easy)” always opens at Depth 110.
• At the end of the week, each player's achieved challenge depth will decay by 8, but will never drop below 110.
• Leaderboards will track not only the deepest depths, but also which group cleared any 3 consecutive tiers in the fastest time. The purple name is now associated with the top 100 players who reach the deepest challenge depths.
• Class switching is allowed in Challenge Delves, but only players who were in the original queue can join or be invited.
• Only Delve mounts or wings may be used.

Delve Rewards
• After defeating the Boss, a Pressurized Chest will appear! Every 3rd consecutive Tier this will be a Heavy Pressurized Chest with additional loot.
• After Depth 25, when a Heavy Pressurized Chest appears, a Shadowy Soul Vault will also appear, containing special rewards like Titan Souls, Lunar Souls, Despoiled Divinity, and Shadow Caches.
• A Delve Shadowkey is required to open the Shadowy Soul Vault. Delve Shadowkeys can be crafted at the Delve Workbench in the hub or at the Shadow Key Mold that appears within the Boss Lair after the Boss is defeated.
• Shadowy Soul Vaults can be opened an unlimited number of times, but players will only receive Titan Souls, Lunar Souls, and Despoiled Divinity from the first 6 Shadowy Soul Vaults opened each week.
• Shadowy Soul Vaults will only appear on specified depths in challenge delves after the completion of at least 3 consecutive depths.
• Binding Darkness can be found in chests and additionally has a small chance to drop from enemies in Delves.
• Shadow Shards are now available from picking up the crystals inside of delves after a certain depth.
• A new currency – Inert Geodes – can be acquired inside the Delves. Only a certain amount of this currency can be obtained at any given time, so make sure to use it before hitting the cap!
• The currency cap for Inert Geodes can be increased by obtaining an Inert Geode Wallet. Three wallets are available: two on Rokatan, the large merchant in the Delve building in the hub and a third on the Store under the “Geode” tab.
• Inert Geodes can be used to purchase mounts and wings that will work in Private and Challenge Delves or to craft a variety of objects at the Delve Workbench.
• "Pressure-Locked Delve Caches" can be purchased for Inert Geodes from a Geodian merchant trapped within Delves - open them to find exciting new Delve-related goodies! They can also be obtained as drops from Heavy Pressurized Chests, as a reward for donating Inert Geodes, and occasionally sold or exchanged for other Delve related goods.
• New delve recipes for advanced tracking potions can be found on Geodian Merchants that are also trapped within Delves. Trapped Geodians are freed occasionally when defeating Delve Lair Bosses.
• A new type of collectible can be found in Delves – Mementos. Each Memento grants mastery and is based on the enemies encountered in the Delve Tier.
• Mementos decay after 3 hours of online time if they are not learnt, but can be deconstructed in to Pressure-Locked Delve Caches.
• New Banners can be obtained through Delves. These banners can be crafted by combining poles, flags, and Inert Geodes at the Delve Workbench in the Hub.
• Decorative versions of these banners can also be obtained for players who want to decorate their cornerstones and club worlds. These recipes are sold by Pebble traders found when defeating Delve Lair Bosses.
• In addition to the Light Banners craftable at the Delve Workbench, for those with Enchanted Seasinew Torches or Enshadowed Tendril Torches, new recipes to upgrade these items can be found on the Sunseeker's Crystalforge in Geode Topside. These new upgrades can be deconstructed back in to the Enchanted Seasinew Torch or Enshadowed Tendril Torch.
• Delve allies can be rarely found in appropriate biomes within Delves or crafted at the Delve Workbench.
• Some of the Shadow Tower bosses have crept in to Delves and in the process have picked up some new mounts! Hydrakken has been unable to move his wall underground, but the others can occasionally be found. Daughter of the Moon has acquired 3 new mounts, while Pinata God, Spikewalker, and Weeping Prophet have all acquired 1 new mount.
• In addition to Crystal gear, Delves is the only place where Crystal 4 is available, but only for the most intrepid and hardened of explorers!
• Delves also give 6 badges for completion of Public, Private, and Challenge delves.

Vaca-matic Module
• The Vaca-Matic, a new module, is now craftable at the Module Workbench. The Vaca-matic sucks in nearby crystals in Geode Caves and nearby enemies in Delves.

Shadow Tower Changes
• Shadow Towers now open directly to the boss lair, but there is an increased cost to open the portals.
• A reset button is available to allow players to fight the boss again. Fighting the boss for a second time will not provide rewards but will increase metrics. This button has a 45 second cooldown.
• Shadow Towers have had titan and lunar soul drops removed. These can now be obtained through Delves.
• The Shadow Tower purple name has moved to the Challenge: Deepest Depth (Weekly) Leaderboard.
• Binding Darkness & Starfire Dragon Egg Fragments no longer drop in Shadow Towers and now occasionally come from the chests found when completing delve floors. Starfire dragon fragments can now be found on world bosses outside of shadow towers.

o Has a 2 second cooldown.
o Clarified what the ability does after the gem is equipped (it still activates ghost mode).

Dive ever-deeper as you unearth new biomes and treasures in this exciting new feature: Delves!

This new and endless-dungeon experience sets you loose on countless caves full of enemies and obstacles at a difficulty custom catered to you and your group.

 Lasts 60+ seconds (scales as it is upgraded)
 Reduces incoming damage by 15-35%
 Combines with a level 6+ Vaca-matic if also equipped, allowing the shield to pull in enemies when struck while active
o The Thumper rank 7 upgrade also causes it to make Delve enemies visible through walls.

• The soul rewards that can be earned in delves have been tripled to match the old rewards for shadow day with patron active. 5 Despoiled Divinity can now be earned per week, up from 3.

  • The Seed Sower mount, Mechanized Hydration Tractor mount, and Horticultural Harvest mount are also available separately from the Style tab. Each mount assists with a different part of Gardening:
    • The Seed Sower plants whichever seeds are selected in the Build Inventory hotbar within a small radius.
    • The Mechanized Hydration Tractor waters all eligible plants within a small radius.
    • The Horticultural Harvester harvests all eligible plants within a small radius.

Geode
  • Rowan has been sending out an SOS, and the Trovians have responded! It's time to go visit that mysterious cube that's been showing up on the Atlas.
  • Geode is a whole new world with its own Hub. Explore the caves of Geode, meet new Companions, and gather resources to level Crystallogy.
  • To the East of the Trove Hub is the giant SS Solidarity that'll carry any Trovian to Geode - just look for the Geode portal on the ground or climb up the ship. Geode can also be accessed via the Atlas.
  • Follow the Geode Expertise Thread to get an explanation of all things Geode. It will start automatically the first time you zone in to Geode. All but the first of these Adventures will grant class experience upon completion along with the various item rewards.
  • Daily Bonuses do not apply when you're on the planet Geode, except XP day.

Geode - Sanctuary
  • Sunseeker Spire - the Geode Hub is where all the Geodians from the largest Boulder to the smallest Pebble have gathered to resist the Shadows.
  • The Geode Hub consists of four levels:
    • The 1st level is where portals to the Geode Caves can be found along with a module forge and module workbench.
    • The 2nd level is Crafter’s Commons. Around the edges of this level can be found:
      • The Crystallogy Center, where Sunseeker Lazul teaches about Crystallogy, an ancient Geodian profession
      • The Companion Ranch where Sunseeker Gabbro awaits to assist with hatching or training Companions
    • The 3rd level is Sunseeker Square, where the Sunseekers make their home. Around the edges of this level can be found:
      • The Reliquary Research Center for all Reliquary-related needs
      • The Bomber Royale Blastadium for all Bomber Royale rewards
    • The 4th level is Sunseeker Landing - access this area to go back to the Trove Hub. The Blue Transit Portal in Crafter’s Commons will fast travel right there!
  • Travel between levels using either the Transit Portals or the airavators (built with the new Anti-gravity blocks).
  • Three new repeatable Adventures are available from assistant Pebbles found near Lazul, Th’lan, and Gabbro. These Adventures reward class experience and Lesser Crystal Caches for the first 20 completions per day.
  • Sunseeker Spire is protected by a massive energy shield that keeps the Shadows out and the Geodians in. The surface outside the shield is too dangerous for Trovians currently. Once the Trovians are better prepared, they will be able to venture beyond the barrier and into the Geodian wilderness.

Geode Caves
  • Travel through 3 new environments to gather resources, upgrade new modules, and meet a new set of creatures.
  • Geodians are usually pacifists, so aggressive abilities are not allowed in the caves - instead there are Modules to assist in cave journeys.
  • The atmosphere of the caves is intense and difficult for Trovian life – no mounts, wings, or allies can be summoned in the caves.
  • Up to 14 players can be found in the same cave at a time. Players cannot be invited in to caves.
  • All caves have up to 5 tiers. Travel through airlocks in order to reach deeper tiers of the caves.
  • Look for signs in the cave that point to lairs – lairs can contain a jackpot of resources, sometimes including a Bronze Companion Egg!
  • All caves contain Gleamstone, Builderite, Ancient Gears, Day Drops, Moonlit Moss, and Wallflowers.
  • The Moonglow Grotto is a predominantly purple cave that uniquely contains Moonstone, Quirkstone, Lunarium, Dream Dew, Acrobat Bark, and Queen Trumpets.
  • The Sunken Sunvault is a predominantly orange cave that uniquely contains Blazine, Sparkzite, Everlight, Sun Sap, Cave Birds, and Fireheart Flowers.
  • The Verdant Veins is a predominantly green cave that uniquely contains Geminite, Chronozine, Mightstone, Cave Kelp, Cogwine, and Builder’s Blossoms.
  • Watch out for hazards - the caves contain explosive plants, fire flowers which will drain N-charge, and creatures.
  • Creatures can be injured, hungry, cold, or overburdened with treasure. Solve their problems to receive crystals or Lesser Crystal Caches!
  • Lesser Crystal Caches can contain crystals or (rarely) Crystal Pinatas, Drillbits, or Bronze Companion Eggs.
  • Drillbits can be used to craft the Bovine Buildmaster or Rocket Drill mounts.

Reliquaries
  • Reliquaries are resource caches which can be equipped while exploring the Geode caves to charge them up.
  • Reliquaries are charged up by feeding, healing, and comforting creatures in the caves.
  • After a Reliquary is fully charged, take it to the Reliquary Cracker in the Geode Hub to open it!
  • Reliquaries can have their chances of an uncommon or rare result improved through the use of Lodestars.
  • Most Reliquaries will take 6 hours to open, while rare Reliquaries will take 2 hours.
  • Accelerite can be applied to speed up Reliquary opening - each Accelerite consumed will reduce the time by 2 hours.
  • Additional Reliquary slots can be obtained using Space Expanders.

Modules
  • Modules are a new type of equipment that will assist progress through the Geode Caves.
  • There are 8 modules, and all can be leveled 10 times. Leveled modules are more efficient in even the early cave tiers.
    • The Geodian Acclimation System (GAS) controls how long the player can survive in the caves. Upgrading it allows for longer, deeper cave dives. When you're out of GAS, you're out!
    • N-Charge powers the other modules - upgrade it to stay stronger longer.
    • The Omni-Tool allows the player to harvest Geodian blocks and interact with cave creatures. Upgrade it to mine faster or further.
    • The Climbing Claw allows the player to grapple to any location within range or to stun cave creatures. Upgrade it to travel faster or further and stun stronger creatures.
    • Rocket Boots allow the player to hover or travel upwards to reach resources that might otherwise be difficult.
    • The Thumper makes crystals and ore visible that would otherwise be hidden.
    • Barrier Generator protects against fire flowers and other hazards.
    • Path Painter allows for marking paths. While staying on a marked path, movement speed is increased.

Companions
  • Companions are cave creatures who've been raised to assist the player in the caves.
  • There are 8 types of companions with 3 different rarity tiers.
  • All Companions grant various benefits when taken on journeys in to the Geode Caves.
  • Companions can be hatched from Bronze, Silver, or Gold Companion Eggs. Gold Companion Eggs are always a rare result, while Silver Companion Eggs are always an uncommon or rare.
  • Companion Eggs can be hatched in the Egg Incubator found in the Geode Hub near Gabbro.
  • Bronze Companion Eggs can have their chances of an uncommon or rare result improved through the use of Lodestars.
  • Companion Eggs will take some time to hatch - Bronze Companion Eggs will hatch in 10 hours, while Silver and Gold Companion Eggs hatch in 2 hours.
  • Accelerite can be applied to speed up Egg hatching - each Accelerite consumed will reduce the time by 2 hours.
  • Companions can be trained in the Companion Trainer found next to the Incubator. Training Companions will add new benefits or increase existing ones.
  • Any unwanted Companions (you monster) can be sent to find a much better, actually loving home by using the Forever Home Finder near the Egg Incubator.

Crystallogy
  • Crystallogy is a new profession found in the Geode Hub.
  • Gain resources while in the Geode Caves in order to level up this profession and craft all the recipes.
  • This profession has recipes for items to assist cave travel in various ways, including assisting cave creatures, tomes for Geodian resources, costumes, and even Space Expanders to add additional reliquary or incubator slots.
  • New VFX Blocks can be crafted from this profession. Add a range of vfx to a cornerstone or club world with these blocks.
  • New Anti-gravity blocks can also be crafted from this profession. Add an airavator to a cornerstone or club world with these new blocks!
  • A new Geode Biome workbench has been added to the Crystallogy Center. Recipe unlockers for the recipes on this workbench can be crafted via Crystallogy.

Geode Mastery
  • Geode has a new type of Mastery.
  • Acquiring items from the Geode Caves, leveling Crystallogy, or leveling Modules will all grant Geode Mastery. (These all continue to also grant Trove Mastery.)
  • Geode Mastery contains rewards to assist progress through the Geode caves – earn metamatter to level Modules, Eggs to earn new Companions, and Space Expanders to unlock additional reliquary or incubator slots.
  • Geode Mastery does not grant stat bonuses.
  • A /geodemastery command is available, similar to the existing /mastery command.

Bomber Royale
  • Bomber Royale is a new competitive combat mode that can be accessed via a top level menu item – it’s literally the bomb.
  • Up to 20 players can join in a Bomber Royale match, although the match will start 15 seconds after 15 players are queued.
  • Players will start on a glass platform that deconstructs, eventually dropping them to the actual map.
  • Bomber Royale maps are completely destructible and will randomly deconstruct themselves over time. The goal is to be the last player standing - literally!
  • Bomber Royale is completely independent of class abilities - every player starts equipped with Rubber Bombs and a Climbing Claw. All players also have the same health and energy amounts.
    • Rubber Bombs are a thrown explosive that bounce off the first surface they hit and explode on the second surface. They consume energy when thrown and will damage other players.
    • The Climbing Claw is a grappling hook that pulls the player to the target location.
    • Several power ups are available across the map:
    • Rubber Bomb power ups decrease the energy cost of throwing a Rubber Bomb
    • Climbing Claw power ups decrease the cooldown of the Climbing Claw ability
    • Health power ups heal the player when triggered - but also slow them down! Only one can be held at a time.
    • Lava Bomb power ups change the next 3 Rubber Bombs thrown to Lava Bombs - these will turn the area in to lava, including any water
    • Sticky Bomb power ups grant the Sticky Bomb on the first pick up, and reduce the cooldown on subsequent gains. The Sticky Bomb does not bounce - it lands in one spot and explodes 5 seconds later.
    • Bomb Jump power up grants the use of the Bomb Jump ability. Bomb Jump gives the player a little escape ability - use it to quickly blast out of the way or knock back an opponent.
  • The last 10 players standing will receive the following rewards:
    • 3 coins to the last player standing
    • 2 coins to the last 2-4 players standing
    • 1 coin to the last 5-10 players standing
  • The first player to kill an opponent will also receive a coin.
  • Coins can be redeemed for rewards at the Bomber Royale Merchant in the Geode Hub.

  • To accommodate the new items added in Geode, 2 new inventory tabs have been added.
  • A module inventory has been added to hold modules for exploring the Geode caves. Players cannot directly interact with the modules in the inventory – but can upgrade them at the Mining Facility in the Geode Hub.
  • The Geode inventory tab contains all the resources collected in Geode, including Companions.
  • The Geode inventory tab will have the same amount of unlocked space as the Adventure and Build mode inventory.
  • An additional free tab has also been added to the Personal Chest.

Bomber Royale Changes
  • A couple of potential Bomber Royale maps are currently running on PTS, but may not be included in the final Improvements Update. Please feel free to give feedback on these maps!
  • Kill credit is now granted to the most recent player to damage someone if they die from environmental damage or falling within 15 seconds.
  • Bomber Royale experience gain has been tuned to award more active, aggressive play. Some experience is now granted based on damage done to other players, and the amount of experience granted for just staying alive has been reduced. Experience for each kill has also been reduced since it is now easier to get credit for kills on players who die from lava or falling. Average experience gain may be lower, but very aggressive and accurate players will be more rewarded.
  • The Bomber Royale scoreboard will now show how much damage has been dealt by each player (not including lava bombs).
  • Damage Done (not including lava) in Bomber Royale is now also tracked in /metrics.
  • In Bomber Royale, there is now an option to spectate the rest of the match. Which living player is being watched can be swapped at any time, and if the current target dies it will automatically swap.
  • Fixed a rare issue that could join players to the same team, preventing them from damaging each other.

Club and Adventure Changes
  • Clubs can now be reordered in the Club List.
  • Primary Clubs will always use channel c1. The other clubs will follow the same order as the Club List.
  • An X button has been added to the Liked Worlds UI, allowing players to remove clubs from the Liked Club World list even if the Homeworld Heart has been removed.
  • Clubs ranks now have a PresidentialCandidate permission, and only players in ranks with this permission will be considered to replace an AWOL president. If a president is AWOL and there is no one in a rank with the PresidentialCandidate permission who is also not AWOL, then that club will continue to be run by the AWOL president. Note that if a president leaves a club, all bets are off and the server will still pick someone to replace them, even if there is no one in a rank with the PresidentialCandidate permission.
  • The Club Adventure “Complete PVP Arena Matches” has been replaced by a new Adventure to throw 100 Bombs in Bomber Royale.
  • The Club Adventure “Complete Timed Challenges” has had its required count changed from 10 to 3.
  • The Club Adventures "Collect a Chaos Chest" and "Collect Chaos Chests" will no longer grant credit for Chaos Chests acquired from deconstructing other items.
  • An /adventurerewards command has been added to show the number of rewards available for various adventure types.
  • Adventures can no longer be accepted if they will not grant any rewards. (Note that club XP is considered a reward, so club adventures can be accepted past the 220 limit.)

Dragons
  • Two new dragons have been added to Trove!
  • Typhandir, the Sundered Shield can be obtained by collecting Egg fragments from Dark Chaos Vaults and then crafting the egg at the Dragon Crucible in the Hub.
    • Typhandir, the Sundered Shield is also available through Golden Dragon Effigies.
    • Dark Chaos Vaults an now be crafted at the Chaos Core Crafter Workbench.
  • Yzzuli of the Honeybreeze can be obtained by collecting Egg fragments from bee enemies and then crafting the egg at the Dragon Crucible in the Hub.
  • The Dormant Lorekeeper Dragon Egg now deconstructs into 5 Lorekeeper Dragon Egg Fragments as opposed to 18 Xinzaya's Tokens.

  • Hearty Party Pack 1 has arrived! Thanks to the charitable contributions made by players during Extra Life 2017, this pack contains an un-bee-lievable dragon, Yzzuli of the Honeybreeze, along with 2 costumes, 3 mounts, 1 dancepad, 8 allies, and 9 styles.
    • Trion Worlds, Inc. will donate $5,000 for every 700 units sold of Trove Hearty Party Pack 1, up to a maximum amount of US$20,000, to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization located at 205 W 700 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 ). • A disclaimer has been added during purchases of packs to remind players that collectibles are automatically unlocked on the purchasing account, and accounts that have already purchased included items will not receive duplicates.

Ice Sage Changes
  • The Ice Sage DPS has been increased to be more in line with the other classes in Trove. The Ice Sage's control over multiple enemies has also been improved and expanded. We have switched around the ultimate ability, 'The Big Chill' to make it more of the Ice Sage's normal kit rotation. We felt the ability to freeze muliple targets is unique to the Ice Sage, is a lot of fun and should be available for use more frequently.
  • Originally, Frozen Ward was designed to behave like a panic button for when things were not looking good for the Ice Sage. Because the shield lasted indefinitely and provided a DPS increase, it made this ability more of a requirement for the class (due to it lacking DPS overall) and less of a second chance at life.
  • While we have moved, 'The Big Chill' to the Ability1 button, we overhauled the way Frozen Ward works, moved it to Ability2 and have made this the class ultimate.
  • The Empowered Gem for the Ice Sage, "Pain Freeze" no longer replaces, 'Ice Crash' but now replaces the Basic Attack for the Ice Sage. We felt the way Pain Freeze was originally implemented was a bit too uncontrollable or RNG and didn't really support the existing kit or change the overall class gameplay in a way we were happy with, so it's been changed. The changes to Pain Freeze should help round out the class and support the existing gameplay without making the class gem a "must have" for the class.
  • Basic Attack
    • The damage of Basic Attack has been increased by 100% to a coefficient of 2.0
    • Projectile size increased by 100% (from 0.25 to 0.50 block size)
  • Ice Crash
    • The damage of Ice Crash has been increased by 17% to a coefficient of 4.5
    • Energy cost reduced from 20 to 15
    • Ice Crash now chills enemies like Basic Attack, slowing their movement speed for 3.5 seconds
    • Ice Crash now attempts to freeze lava blocks, creating water in the process
  • The Big Chill
    • The Big Chill has been moved to Ability1 and has been replaced by, "Frozen Ward" as the Ice Sage ultimate ability
    • Enemies frozen no longer delay damage but take damage immediately
    • The Big Chill now lasts 3.5 seconds
    • The Big Chill costs 40 energy
    • The Big Chill now has a 7s cooldown
    • Enemies now take damage over time while frozen
    • Initial damage has a coefficient of 3.0
    • DoT damage has a coefficient of 0.66
    • The Big Chill has a critical coefficient of 0.5
  • Frozen Ward
    • Frozen Ward has been moved to Ability2 as the Ice Sage ultimate ability, replacing, "The Big Chill"
    • Frozen Ward now lasts 6s
    • Frozen Ward costs 55 energy

  • Ice Sage Empowered Gem, "Pain Freeze"

    • Pain Freeze basic attack chills enemies, slowing their movement speed. (Like the Ice Sage passive, "Coldhearted")
    • Pain Freeze allows Ice Sages to walk across ice without slipping. (Like the Ice Sage passive, "Coldhearted")
    • Targets hit three times with Basic Attack while "Pain Freeze" is equipped explode taking additional damage with a coefficient of 4.5
    • The first hit from Basic Attack now freezes targets for 1s
  • Ice Sage Sub-class Ability
    • All tiers of the Ice Sage sub-class shield now include:
      • Incoming damage reduced by 10% while active
      • Movement speed has been increased by +20
      • Magic Damage is increased 20%
      • Attack Speed is increased 20%

  • There is a new Bomber Royale Weekly Contest Leaderboard - Weekly Bomber Royale Damage Done. This contest rotates week over week with Weekly Bomber Royale Kills.
