We have released a new Metrics section where players can upload their /exportmetrics files and compare against other players. To help promote this feature we are drawing some of the submitters at random and awarding them a Dev Dreams on Monday.
We've had the /exportmetrics command in-game for a while but only recently has it become a reliable way we can use it to track information. The Trove Team have added a way for us to check the integrity of the output file to see if it has been edited as well as the environment it was generated on.
Thank you to Dan "Pan" for including the extra fields and for Sly for collaborating with me on this.
Task
- On PC Trove use the /exportmetrics command
- Upload the exportMetrics.txt file that is generated in your Trove folder to https://trovesaurus.com/metrics
- (Alternatively you can drop the exportMetrics.txt file in the #exportmetrics channel on the Trovesaurus Discord)
- Combat Stat Info will only be included for your current class, so you may wish to submit multiple files, however each account will only be entered once into the draw for a prize
Dates
- Tuesday, November 30 to Monday, December 6, 2021
Rewards
- We will be awarding a code for a Dev Dream to random unique account names that have been submitted
- The total winners will be based on the amount of submissions
Metrics Overview
This is the default page, which shows links to the other pages at the top. You can see the recent uploads and click on them to view the account information. Some quick links to Trove Mastery Rank and Power Rank rankings are displayed.
Each stat can be clicked, which lists in order of the highest value from submissions.
An example of an account profile which lists information such as:
- Collectable Unlocks (amounts)
- Mastery XP (per type)
- Player Metrics (like how many times you died)
As well as Combat Stat Info for the class the user submitted the information on.
