Context:

opening chaos chests

Expected:

flux generated from opening chaos chests and other boxes to be included in the calculation for the flux earned leaderboard

Reproduce:

to reproduce the bug where the flux generated from chaos chests and other boxes isn't considered for the flux earned leaderboard, follow these steps:

1. open the game and ensure you are logged in to your account
2. navigate to the in-game store or inventory where you can access chaos chests or similar boxes
3. acquire a certain number of chaos chests or boxes containing items or in-game currency, like flux
4. open the acquired chaos chests or boxes
5. take note of the flux or in-game currency obtained from opening these chests
6. check the flux earned leaderboard or any relevant leaderboard that tracks your in-game earnings
7. observe that the flux earned from opening chaos chests or boxes is not reflected in the leaderboard

this discrepancy between the actual earned flux and the flux shown on the leaderboard indicates the presence of the bug. the flux generated from chaos chests and boxes should contribute to your total earned flux on the leaderboard, but the bug is causing this to not happen correctly

it doesn't have to do anything with dupes, you can dupe anything if you can crash a server anyway
every item is subject to be duped provided you can crash a server
could literally just dupe stellar gear if you feel doing so

well, I don't know of any pinata dupe (unless the recently fixed void-chunk bug also affected pinatas)

i mean it isn't any different than to what pinatas are now, so yeah it should be taken into account for the leaderboard

now, if the chest was duped, that's a different story 💀 again would have been useful to have it count for the leaderboard; to give a chance to spot if a player's score on that leaderboard increases too much suddenly

yeah, but then again, you aren't creating a chaos chest out of thin air when buying it from the marketplace. you are just taking a chaos chest generated by someone else, so that flux would still have been generated regardless of who opens the chest.

nowadays though you can artificially increase it much faster with pinatas anyway, they yield much more flux than boxes

I mean, yeah, it would make sense and be useful if that leaderboard counted everything. Since then it would show all legally generated flux in the game.

yeah, I always just assumed "Flux Earned" leaderboard counted flux obtained by loot collecting items in the loot collector/deconstructor (excluding flux tanks)

i just assumed flux generated from other boxes wouldn't be taken into account for the leaderboard either
i tested with chaos chests though
