I'm doing geode quest

Expected:

I can complete geode quest "Upgrade Your GAS"

Reproduce:

I'm returner and I was doing geode quest, my GAS was level 4 and then I upgraded it to 5 after the quest to "Upgrade Your GAS" show up

Why was this marked "not a bug"? It hasn't been fixed, I've had the same issue on all of the "upgrade your gas" quests. Is it expected behavior for quests to be impossible without opening a support ticket?
