Dear Trovians,

Inflation is increasing all over!  Prices are rising, and speculation is out of control!  We have to do something!

We’ve heard your voices reporting that many items are unaffordable for the majority of players.  In order to protect our players, we’ve decided to implement a small listing fee and a tax on sales in the Marketplace.  We believe this should help drive down flux inflation and discourage speculation in the form of flipping. Direct trading is unaffected, so players who prefer to find buyers themselves are unaffected by these changes.

The PTS is already available with this change, and we eagerly await your feedback on all of our Social Media Channels.  Thanks for being part of our community, and we hope to see you in a stronger economic future for Trove!

Economical regards,
Your Trove Team

I just feel like new players are trying to take advantage of you all a small bit like they try to all the time cause they don’t wanna try very hard. While end gamers worked hard. However I see the price abuse it is real for resources, cheap items and easy non rare mastery stuff gets over priced. Sigh it’s a mess I’m glad I never played pc. Anyone else feel upset or have mixed feelings about this? If so what’s your thoughts?
In fact I might get mad too that sounds bogus it take the value away from the grind for delve mounts that are rare or event mounts. I understand players want easy mastery try taking a look at console mastery for all players right look at that quantity of higher mastery. And think carefully cause if you make it any more easy it makes those who worked harder hurt ruining the tireless grinds they endured for certain mastery items just to be bought at low fees cheapening there sacrifices. I’m just saying consider rethinking the fee amount for higher items I suppose or increase the mastery one day again seems like we’re still getting player flow yah know :D
I doubt I will get to enjoy this game as easy going as it was in beta. The time for this game to be my place of relaxation game is over now it’s try hard. I miss the the beginning, but I know I can’t return to the golden days I’m 875 total mastery now and it’s understandable the grind has been made harder ingame for certain things. I plan to keep craving mastery I’m not full yet. If I seek relaxation I’ll play a side game or something. Anyways I don’t know if market fee is wise for items past 5 mill flux that might anger a lot of players.
Interesting yet there are plenty of high mastery on on Xbox the last 2yrs people seem to have no problem getting 700 mastery. There’s so many now yet I’ve noticed the price climb. And the top leaderboard players control market. I’ve had to work my butt off for 6yrs and my rng is terrible, but then some how it feels like rng happens better for top leaderboard players keep in mind I was top 5 Draco once and noticed and odd lucky streak.
