The Trove team have posted a new community blog previewing the some new monster abilities that the Monster Bash patch coming this month will bring.
Monsters will be given new attacks including:
- Blinding Lasers
- Spike Nova
- Placeable Turrets
- Poisonous Mushroom Men
- Gravity Well
- Gravity Vortex
- Duplicates

Trove would be a walk in the park if there weren’t monsters to battle. Where’s the fun in that? Let’s juice them up a bit (ok, a lot) and call it Monster Bash!
Beating a challenging foe creates amazing memories in any adventure game. Now, your loving Trove Devs are adding a huge helping of evil into enemies with Monster Bash! While the monsters you know and love in Trove already have a bevy of brutal attacks, including flames and teleportation, Monster Bash adds much, MUCH more!
What else could we possibly throw in?
Blinding Lasers, a nova of spiked death, placeable turrets, and virtual armies of poisonous Mushroom Men – just the tip of the lethal iceberg that you’ll encounter.
A Gravity Well that limits your jumping? Check!
A Vortex of death that draws you in? Got it!
Some foes can even create duplicates of themselves that you’ll have to battle through!
Bring it, you say? Better beef up your skills, because Monster Bash is coming in May!
