This time on Club Leader Spotlight we visit an Xbox club for the first time and speak to abacadaba50 who leads 32bit glory .

Thanks a lot to Steedfeed who helped organise this interview.

What can you tell us about yourself and your club?

My GT is abacadaba50, and I'm a proud fish dad. I just wish my goldfish would quit catching on fire. I like to read. The classics like Dostoevsky, fantasy like wheel of time, surrealism like Christopher Moore,  even non-fiction when it tickles my fancy. I also enjoy writing. Mostly bad poems.

32bit glory is a great club that has players across the spectrum from early-game players to the sweatiest of end gamers, and players from all over the globe. This diversity helps to create a great club dynamic where all can flourish from cooperation.

Where does your character name and club name come from?

My name comes from if you are taking a test on a scantron and you don't know the answers you enter A B A C  A D A B A.

Like abracadabra. 32bit glory is a homage to the nostalgia of the retro games we grew up playing.

What's your favorite part of Trove? What keeps you coming back?

My favorite part of trove is that it gives me something to do besides being productive in real life. What keeps me coming back is the people and community we have fostered. I like helping folks that are willing to help themselves.

How did your club start out? and when did you start being responsible for it?

It started like most, a few friends in beta started it. I believe drone king, and luna were a part of the very beginning. I wasn't there.

I joined when tom aka dilly dilly was just taking over. At the time it was a haven for scrubby grinders. Well at least I was a scrubby grinder. Tom and purdy were trying to get me to join their "elite" 10k club block lives matter, but I only had one club slot and I liked the pacman floor that had just started being built. So I joined 32 instead. I quickly became an officer, then VP, and about a year ago I took over as president. Think I do an ok job.

Have you managed clubs/guilds in other games?

Used to play a game called Stronghold Kingdoms and helped manage it and The Division 2. But never anything as dope as 32bit.

What motivates you to continue managing a community on Trove?

I'm a glutton for punishment I guess. But for real I enjoy helping people. And what better way to help out than helping out the club that helped me so much. Also maybe they will finally give top 10 club presidents our special colored name

Which other clubs would you like to highlight and why?

Everyone knows the big clubs. Besides Vigilantes and Ultra Addicts, The Top 20 have been around since beta.

I'd like to draw attention to some of the beautiful builds out there.

  • TLD world is one. Take the mag rider tour, trust me.
  • Needlessly vicious is another
  • The Phoenix is my favorite freehand build in the game.
  • Tempworld. It was the first club I had seen in Trove with games. I was
blown away seeing the club in like January 2017.
  • If you want to be blown away by music check out blackrose.
  • Kirbyland is like a kirby only 32bit hub
  • Germaniacs has a really cool aquarium fish build.

I know I'm missing tons of cool  builds, so don't be offended, just get out there and look at all the cool builds. Because sometimes we forget that trove is about more than just flux and mastery.

What is the most challenging thing about running a community on Trove?

Dealing with people. So many egos and different types of personalities coming together are bound to cause some flare ups.

Are there any club members or particular builds in your club world you would like to highlight and why?

Builds is our amazing hub. I like it because it's unlike any other. As for members I'd like to shout out zuko, piplup, james, and cuddles for doing the st world boss counter so many of us use. Zoranza for doing the ally count every day. People like kaylee, kushqueen, and others who are always helping with speed runs.

Like to thank Steedfeed for nominating me for this and for the stuff he does with PTS on PC that helps us on Xbox with information.

I know I'm missing a ton of people, I'd like to thank all of the VPs, officers, enforcers, captains, and members who make the club what it is. 32bit or quit.

How do you like the current Club Building and Management tools and what would you like changed?

Building needs to be easier, or more user friendly. Something like being able to float while in builder mode. Management tools I'd like a club block list so I can see who is blocked not who laid blocks lol.

How do you find the Club Adventures and Fixtures?

I find them by people calling out the quests or looking on discord.

Unless you are asking how do I like them. Then in that case mostly fine, but I'd like a new powerful fixture just for fun and to level club more. As for club adventures the gem quest needs to be revamped. 25 is too many for the reward.

What advice would you give to people looking for a Club or thinking of starting a new Club?

If you are starting a new one then get a group around you willing to run quests and most importantly run them yourself because people will help those who lead by example.

Is there anything Trovesaurus can do more to help support your club?

Give me a [Yabaki] would be supportive lol, but seriously Trovesaurus does a good job empowering Trovians with information. Console players sometimes feel like Trove's red-headed stepchildren and having a console club highlighted is a good thing.
