Time to spruce up and branch out Trovians, we got a creative new challenge for all those woodworkers coming out there! Support healthy tree growth in both our worlds and possibly unlock some awesome rewards!

To participate in this challenge, craft a tree themed cornerstone or club area and screenshot your character in game. You could build a single tree, a whole forest, a treehouse, or maybe even a christmas tree. Let your creativity blossom, pretty much anything with a type of tree in it is allowed.

Be sure to reply to this forum post with at least one screenshot that must show the character name visibly (not edited or zoomed in) and the tree related build you have solely created at a cornerstone or club.

The 3 most beautiful constructions will be rewarded!

You have until April 22, 2020 14:59 PT/21:59 UTC/23:59 CEST to submit on this forum thread.

Conditions of Participation:
  • The general rules apply to this event.
  • You can only participate once per forum account and player.
  • Only one participant may enter and win the reward, creations should be made solely by this individual.
  • You must indicate your username, platform, region and post your screenshot(s) showing your character name and the tree creation in the post of participation.
  • Your screenshot may not be modified/edited.
  • The deadline for general participation in the event is April 22, 2020 at 14:59 PT/21:59 UTC/23:59 CEST.
  • The decisions of the team members are final.

If you stick to it and be-leaf in yourself, there's no telling how far you'll grow. No plagiarism or face palms please, but we'll gladly accept handmade palm trees!

Preview: ghly scammable. Your best bet is to stick to the Marketplace in game. If you decide to Show

This type of scenario is a spectacular way to get scammed. It's a terrible idea in every single case. It is absolutely against our Terms of Use. The best way to avoid being scammed is to avoid doing things that are highly scammable.

Your best bet is to stick to the Marketplace in game. If you decide to go outside of the internal game system to trade then you should expect to be scammed and risk receiving a suspension or ban, depending on the specific circumstance.

Hopefully that answer eliminates most of your doubts.

They are offered as players hit specific PR milestones but also available on a rotating schedule. They do only stick around for a few hours at a time so it's easy to miss them, for sure. I know something we're working on is a way to let people see very clearly when "flash deals" are available.

Additional Updates
  • Ice Sage changes:
    • The explosion for Pain Freeze should now trigger after three attacks.
    • The damage coefficient on the Basic Attack has increased.
    • Frozen Ward's cooldown has been reduced to 30s.
    • The damage coefficient of Ice Crash has increased.
    • Ice Crash cannot be used to prevent enemies from ever attacking.
    • Glacial Ward now has a 5s duration and has been repurposed to be more of a buff rather than a one hit shield. While active, movement speed, magic damage, and attack speed are increased. Damage received greater than 50% of HP is absorbed.
  • Xendri, the Arc Tempest, realizing he was lagging behind his siblings in power, made his case to Celetial Paragon Zehira to increase his power. He now grants energy regen and maximum health in addition to a maximum energy increase and magic find, bringing him more in line with his brethren.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause spectator mode in Bomber Royale to stick on the first player watched.
  • Double PVP Experience has been removed from the weekly bonus rotation after the current week - it only affects the old Battle Arenas, so the event has been confusing for some players. Bomber Royale is affected by the normal Double Experience weekly bonus instead.

On the tech side we're not able to prevent players from having their rewards for the week locked out if they run the ST on Monday. Even if we have the tech to prevent rewards from being delivered for a specific day (and I'm not sure that we do) it would mean that those players simply get nothing all week.

We're going to stick with what we've previously stated. For anyone who completes the ST on Monday they will receive the rewards available at that time. To receive the new rewards you'll need to wait until they are implemented after the patch on August 22.

Those are just two of the many terrifying styles available during Shadow's Eve!

Spooky Mounts
11 mounts can be unlocked this year! Get them from the Daily Login Chests, taking part in the in-game events, the Trove Store or through crafting them at the Shadowy Station! When you're riding in style on the Hyperactive Haunt or Drak-O-Lantern you'll be the envy of the neighborhood!

We intentionally have different physics for flowing water than still water because we didn't want players to slow down when running through waterfalls and puddles formed by the flowing water.

As for infinite flow, it's a combination of reasons, the first of them being - we wanted to make it easy for players to create waterfalls. There's other reasons, such as keeping water sim and rendering manageable as those can get overwhelmingly complex very fast (using 'correct' water flow such as described in the Navier-Stokes equations will bring any computer to its knees very fast).

The Megalithic Update is the first major update coming to Xbox One and PS4 – and its massive! We're adding a new class, new biome, lots of new dragons, min-games, craftable classes, seasonal events, and so much more. Learn all about the Dino Tamer class and the massive biome it calls home in this first step on the road to the Megalithic Update.

The Dino Tamer

Hailing from the Desert Frontier but lost in a land that time forgot, the Dino Tamer is a ravenous, ranged ruffian who mastered a unique combat style designed for surviving in the harsh wilderness of the Jurassic Jungle.

Dino Tamer Skills

Meatergy (passive)
Killing an enemy with the net debuff active will reduce the cooldown of the Dino Buddy skill.

Hunting Dart (R2 or RT)
Fire off a long ranged dart to hit your enemies hard before they even know you’re there. This is a fantastic way to stick and move.

Clever Snare (L2 or LT)
Throw a net to lock down and debuff anyone, or anything, that stands in your way. Holding down the button charges up the net, increasing its size, so it can hold more enemies!

Dino Buddy (R1 or RB)
Throws a piece of meat on the ground to summon one of three randomly selected dinosaurs to fight by your side. The DPS raptor, the pterodactyl with stun attack, and the tanking, taunting triceratops!

Dino Mount (L1 or LB)
Fire off your Ultimate to summon a unique dinosaur mount that empowers your attacks. Your Clever Snare is always fully charged and does substantial damage to nearby enemies. When you summon a Dino Buddy you also unleash a powerful stomp that damages anyone caught in its wake.

The Jurassic Jungle

This lush wilderness is full of dangerous dinosaurs, deadly dungeons, and dastardly devils! The Jurassic Jungle has an upper and lower level with distinct enemies to fight and tons of dungeons to take down. As you fight your way through this blast from the past you'll pick up all new styles and recipes to bring that extra retro look to the modern Trovian.

New Enemies
The Jurassic Jungle is home to a slew of new enemies of all shapes and sizes. Take down raptors with razor-sharp claws, thick-skinned triceratops tanks, a titanic Tyrannosaurus Rex, just to name a few!

This is only the beginning of what's coming with the Megalithic Update. Be on the lookout for a massive amount of info coming in the weeks ahead. Thanks for playing Trove - the best is yet to come!

I don't think we can have all those flowers. People would farm them for glim hard core. As for the visuals, I'd like to see something a bit more interesting with the towers. Maybe they are open at the top or have some extra architectural designs on them. The colors also feel a bit off on the outside. I would stick with things that feel like stone or overgrowth for fae.
