if that were true for patron, there would be a lot of angry reports saying their patron expired too soon.
double xp potions aren't affected either, and paragon rings may expire at the wrong time of day, but their timer shouldn't be cut in half either.

This has been an issue with literally everything in the game <@523714260090748938> including patron timer
