I've changed my username a few months ago and since then I've been having issues with other users seeing my old username.
My username now is Identical and it used to be BG_Shirley.
It's always been an issue when renaming that for some users the old username remains but it's never been this consistent.
The main issue with this is that the players that have me appear as ''BG_Shirley'', can't actually add my main. They have to remove my old username from their friendslist in order to friend me. From my perspective however, they're still on my friendslist and there's nothing wrong.

I change my username, I appear as my new username for everyone and I don't have to tell people that I renamed and they have to remove my old username to add me.

Observed

Reproduction Steps

Buy a rename tag of the store Find a username you like Use the rename tag (whilst not in hide, people have said before that being in /hide majorly affects how often the bug happens, not sure if this is true though. like their "10000hz polling" is actually 1000 and they just repeat fake commands in between polling rates

@Nikstar atm they dont know whats causing the issue its harder to track down those issues cus they are not consistant enough and a lot of other factors play into it aswell like dffrent software, OS, windows setting, dpi etc. feel free to give as much information as you can on this i know dan wants to look into it let us know everything that could possibly matter i also heard some people say low ingame sense and dpi has less issues then usig high dpi and high in game sense. could be worth a try

My current thought process is that some mice "simulate" extra polling rates by interpolating position and sending a"fake" windows input command that the game picks up.
