I personally dont have experience with Magica Voxel, but i think it works same way as in other voxel editors. You copy your .qb model, recolor it in appropriate colors, save as material map copy (_a, _s or _t) and then convert to blueprint.

I ve added a step-by-step for a method TFMHisztike described into our How to get Started guide, under the Step 5: Preview you items in Trove. May be it will work for you that way.
But if your spear turns invisible on weapon preview, may be there is something wrong with the blueprint itself?
As for the spear design, it looks good, dont think we have that design in the Radiant spear styles yet. However, you do need to check out the Lint and Export button in Troxel. You have quite a lot of Floating voxels in your design, those are not allowed, please connect them to the main shape.
Also, you might want to try out Material mapping, with Material maps you can make your crystals glow and your metals shine :)
try to name the file to equipment_weapon_spear_starter (just bc its the starter spear ez to find, first one in the list) so u can equip it as a mod not /weaponpreview
also make a pic where the spear is more visible not the red trees in the hub P:
