Hmm didn't even think about the world bosses. Man, there's a lot of little things to think about hehe. Totally get the mob spawns too. I'll hopefully get it back up to review later on! (Might try to redo 1_3 to fit but we'll see. Pretty sure I have the height available to extend it)

Hello again!

My oh my this dungeon evolved :) Loving the layout variety and room designs!

I very much appreciate extra rooms, and in Snowhouse_Floor1_3 you have a very fun layout, but i wouldnt suggest to have rooms with height of only 3. Imagine a worldboss-sized mob spawning in it, that will look broken and combat will be unpleasant. Its fine to have height of 3 for some short passages or doorways, but for rooms its better to aim for 4+ blocks of height.

I understand there is not much space available to increase that in current dungeon design though. Good thing - you already have two gameplay rooms that work just fine. Id suggest to remove that 1_3 blueprint from dungeon generation and keep it (but with higher ceilings) for another dungeon of yours.

Another thing - only 5 mobs will spawn in a 1* dungeon (unless its on Geode topside, those tend to spawn mobs at all available positions). If you have too many mob spawns placed in your blueprints there s a chance they all will spawn in a small room rather than being more or less equally spread through the dungeon. It would be great if you could trim down spawns in Gameplay rooms and add them to entrance and especially boss rooms.

Changing status back to Active for a few, hoping to see this dungeon back on review soon.

Awesome thanks for the feedback. I'm surprised I never noticed it floating... I usually pick things up like that right away. Also good point about it being earlier and to lower trap count. Never thought of that.

Good catch with the boss spawner in the photo too :p

I designed this like 5 years ago and remember I  was always confused which one you were supposed to use and then realized after posting this.

I'll get going on some more variations and I'll get back to you. Again, thank you!

Hello!

It is very nice to see new dungeons being made :) You have a very solid dungeon concept, all functional elements look good and seem to working, well done!

There are few moments that would need to be adjusted before i could approve it though.

Entrance room:

Currently your dungeon seems to be floating above the ground, if you lift your Red Plug 3 blocks up it will align with ground level. There should be enough room below to achieve such a thing, but if not - you could also add one more layer of snow below those two layers and round it up a bit to make it sort of a natural mini hill (please excuse my paint skills).

Another thing - every room needs at least two variations. You have two variations of gameplay rooms, Snowhouse_Floor1_1 and Snowhouse_Floor1_2, but entrance and boss rooms need those too :)

You would need to add a 'fake air roof' - a layer of Placeholder blocks above your dungeon to prevent it from being obstructed by terrain. You could add that to every Entrance blueprint, or you could make it as a separate blueprint that would use yet another plug-socket to attach itself to a dungeon. If you make that as same-sized square as Entrance, that will protect it whole, but you could also make it smaller and rounded to allow world generation to cover corners of your dungeon and make it blend in better with terrain.

It could also be good to add some distinguishing features to top part, i am not sure that it will be noticeable and read as 'oh wow, a new dungeon!' the way it is now.

Gameplay rooms:

You did really well with these two! They offer decent variety and work well with entrance part :) One minor thing about them - since Permafrost worlds can be accessed pretty early on in the game it could be good to trim down on traps/spikes. With ice on the ground there most definitely always needs to be a safe path through spikes. Removing couple of those here and there should be sufficient :) Example of what i mean, current - on the left, trimmed down - on the right.

Boss room:

Very nice design, i like attention to details and especially ceiling, most of the time it just gets ignored :) It makes me happy that you already fixed the boss spawner haha, on a screenshot it uses a 3* dungeon version :)

As a suggestion, i believe it might be better to give more room around the exit portal to make it more comfortable for players. That can easily be achieved with Mimic Blocks, /wadd placeable/block/transmute/mimic < in metaforge.

There would need to be at least one more variation of a Boss room though. For example, you could make a drop down instead of them stairs and/or make the room round and/or add some melted ice (water) in gaps on the floor etc etc, endless possibilities.

Overall - really well done, good job!

Im going to change status of your dungeon to Active for now, set it back to Needs Review once you upload changes. If you would rather create something completely different - you could change the status of this one to Draft. That will hide it from the public list and will free up a slot for another creation.

In any case, good luck :)
