What an interesting design! I love it that its not symmetrical, a good idea with the reactor too! However, its better to avoid all too many repeated elements. Those lines sure do give a model 'techno' look, but they also do not read as something particular, there are too many of them to be 'pipes' and they are not symmetrical to be energy rings or something like that. You did a great job on nuclear particles accelerator, that read very well, may be you could do something that easily understandable for the 'striped' part of the staff aswell. 

Another thing, on your gun you did very nice shading on the black parts, even tho a gun has much smaller model. Would be great if you applied some shading to the staff aswell. That could give it some more visual volume and make a whole design look more refined.

For the technical part, it would seem the dimensions of your staff are a bit off. Staffs can be 35 long max with only 24 voxels in front of attachment point, you have 27. It might seem like a slight difference, but with some animations those 3 extra voxels could go through character model etc, so please make sure it fits the size.

Last but not least, material maps. You have mapped those particles as glowing on type map but also gave them color on alpha map, only glass blocks need alpha, having it on other types cause errors (red circles). Another thing, since particles are not connected to anything they count as floating voxels. Its not allowed to have those, but it would be easily fixed if you filled the container with glass blocks. Glass behind the glass would not be visible, so it would still have an effect of 'floating particles'.

To sum up, it is a very nice idea and general design, but it needs somewhat more love, back to Active for now.
