There's also the Wild Fae.

As for the backstory, parts of it are there, some can be inferred from the Fae Wilds biome, and some of it can be pieced together from the tooltips of certain pieces of gear.

That's where most of the backstory is currently

But yeah, the typo is a remnant from when cupcakes spawned in Permafrost. Thanks for calling that out, we'll fix that
