Throws a piece of meat on the ground to summon one of three randomly selected dinosaurs to fight by your side. The DPS raptor, the pterodactyl with stun attack, and the tanking, taunting triceratops!

Dino Mount - (2 key)

Fire off your Ultimate to summon a unique dinosaur mount that empowers your attacks. Your Clever Snare is always fully charged and does substantial damage to nearby enemies. When you summon a Dino Buddy you also unleash a powerful stomp that damages anyone caught in its wake.

Hey all,

Today I have some bittersweet news to share with all of you: this will be my last week at Trion Worlds. I’ve taken a job at a small game studio and I’m excited to get back to basics, and work on some smaller, experimental stuff. It is impossible to extend my gratitude to everyone enough, from the incredibly talented teams at Trion that have created and supported Trove, to you the players old and new (I see you Beta folks who still play every day).

Being a part of creating Trove has been a literally life-changing experience for me. Working together to develop the game along with all of you allowed us to reach the millions of people in ways I never expected, and it has made Trove a great game that’s only going to keep getting better. I’m leaving Trove in the hands of an amazing and passionate team, plus an incredible community (one I’ll be joining myself).

So, let’s talk about the man who’s going to be stepping up to the plate and taking over my responsibilities as the leader of Trove: Rick “Din Othar” White. You may not know him by name since he’s been lurking behind the scenes as one of our producers, but he’s been with the team for quite a while now and has my complete trust in steering Trove towards a brightly-colored, cube-shaped future. In fact, he already has some exciting news to share with you just below.

I’m also looking forward to seeing all of you one last time and officially introducing Rick in-person during this week’s Trove Livestream, so please join us on Thursday, April 13 at 12:30 PM PDT for some final goodbyes from me and some big hellos for Rick!

-- Andrew “Avarem” Krausnick

Hey there, my Trovian friends!

I’m Rick “Din Othar” White (bonus points if you know what that name means) and, like Andrew said, I’ll be taking the lead here on Trove. While I’m sad to see Andrew ride off into the sunset, I’m very excited to continue working with our passionate team and community in this new role.

So, let’s get to the big stuff: Trove’s future.

I’m thrilled to announce the name of the world changing game update that will bring the same game version of Trove to every Trovian around the world - the Megalithic Update! This epic patch is a massive content drop for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One that includes the Dino Tamer class, Jurassic Biomes, class crafting, gameplay acquired Chaos Chests, regular in-game events, faster leveling, daily login chests, mini-games, and so much more.

The next big update after Megalithic will bring some fantastic changes to the game focused around the Shadow Tower and the sinister creatures that inhabit it. Without giving away too many spoilers, the Daughter of the Moon now resides on the sixth floor and reigns supreme over all the tower’s shadowy denizens. What new adversaries has she summoned to the fray? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Here’s a look at just some of the content we will deliver in 2017:
  • The ability to unlock and designate a sub-class to gain new unique abilities on your active class
  • Long awaited enhancements to clubs including club levels, member ranks, and tiered rewards
  • A massive increase to the Mastery Rank cap and the prizes earned for gaining Mastery
  • …and Plasma Fishing. Yes, you read that correctly, Plasma Fishing!

That’s only a taste of what’s coming this year. We can’t wait for you to see what else we’ve got planned!
