My friend Jon is stinky
This build was updated for
Deep Dragons
My friend Jon likes to be a tanky dragon boi but doesn't like to use his brain. So I made this for him because my brain is GIGA Subclass Notes because there's not a place for that for some reason? Site sux. Ice Sage - Greatest damage coeff + the shield, while not super useful, can come in handy from time to time Chloromance - Greatest HP increase but the subclass trait itself is somewhat useless as it doesn't seem to scale too well Knight - Can provide greatest utility with increased flasks and is by far the best for group farming with the mount speed.
TankSupportShadow Towers
Notes: This is mostly tank oriented and CC oriented for group play
Ice Sage Subclass
Stat Priority
Notes: Prioritize magic damage so that you still have some value other than just never dying. Also, try to get ~50% CH total with all dragons this should only be one or two gems. That way you can proc some other effects later in the guide.
Notes: We take energy regen in a couple of places to allow us to farm more boys from our Burning Ward gem. We also take crit chance instead of health regen on weapon to help us more easily round out that 50%, but if you get it on gems without the staff, feel free to replace that crit chance with more Health Regen making us more TankChamp
Ally and Flasks
Ally
- 300 Light
- 10.0% Maximum Health
- 10.0% Health Regen
Increases cooldown recovery speed by 10%.
It's between this and Lil' Sprinkles. Objectively I find this to be more valuable as the CDR should allow you to have dragon form up more consistently.
Flask
Dracolyte doesn't have a ton of great options in the flask department so this is just what seems to be the common take to make up for it. Gives more damage making draco more useful than just "I stand here and spawn little lads".
If struggling defensively, Death Defying vial or Elysian Jug with Unyielding Emblem instead of Evil Eye Emblem will shore up those defenses.
Empowered Gems
Cosmic Gem - Vampirian Vanquisher is DISGUSTINGLY strong. with the 50% CH mentioned earlier and Dracolytes consistent tick rate of hits it procs fairly regularly allowing a pretty consistent flow of additional incoming HP.
Other Gems - Burning Ward is just funny and provides more dps and a form of CC known as "Bad game ai hits dumb little dragons"
Stunburst stuns everything it hits with its projectiles including bosses. While the stun only lasts a couple of seconds, it's still a very handy survival tool.
Spirit Surge allows a bit of dps scaling with the max HP we took earlier. It can be argued to take Cubic Curtain instead if you want to be a bit more defensive, though you should be an unkillable wall already at this point even without it.
Burning Ward Class Gem
When a Burnt Offering detonates, it spawns a mini Dracolyte minion that attacks enemies for a brief duration.
Stunburst
Taking damage has a chance to spawn a ring of stunning projectiles, briefly disabling affected enemies.
This gem has a cooldown.
Spirit Surge
Taking damage has a chance to spawn a ring of projectiles, applying damage-over-time to enemies based on your max health.
This gem has a cooldown.
Vampirian Vanquisher Cosmic Gem
Dealing a critical hit to enemies has a chance to increase movement speed and cause the next hit to leech health.
