Posts the Trove developers have made that mention "Wood"
The inside looks good but the outside needs some work. Mostly with color. The red anvil should probably be changed to a grey or a more desaturated red steel color and the color used for the green bands feel out of place. I would suggest steel metal colors for the anvil and hammer, then a closer matching color for all the bands instead of a green. The runes at that point would need to be what ever color works best. the handle could also be changed to a wood color with a handle to match. So the colors needs some work basically. The anvil itself could also use some trim on the edges and possibly some other decorative designs to help break up the solid colors I'd suggest making designs on it with a color similar to what you color the entire anvil with but a bit lighter then using the iridescent material to make it shimmer when the light hits it correctly. So the inside is solid but the outside needs some love. Keep it up!
cornerstone props too. A good example are kunfu's head trophies. While they are super awesome we've learned that the white noisy pad that the heads are mounted on can be very taxing when hundreds of them are in one spot (which happens all the time) Lets say the white pad is 8x8 and the wood back is 12x12 (both of which have noise) That's potentially 208 individual voxels not included the heads where if they were solid colors, it would be calculated as 2 (rough numbers, I know the shape of the back isn't a suqare) So part of it is a learning process on our side where we enter a dungeon and say "why is this so slow?" and another part is visual tweaks in direction as we fine tune things.
Looking cool and getting close. All I have still is the tree feels out of place so I would suggest maybe just removing it and replacing it with some kind of mini tower thing just to have an object there. the railing on the bridge feels out of place since it is wood but we DO have a laser fence. look for **deco_fence_plasma** and you will see the set also the textured cubes there that are meant to look like the paper wall... things... you see in pagodas doesn't really fit since it's so different from everything else. We want to keep tech as the theme. other than that it's pretty close :)
There's a bit too much noise going on with the plants themselves. I would suggest something more blocky to match Trove a bit more like this http://imgur.com/tEjHW0C Doesn't have to be exactly like this, just an example of more solid shapes. I would also give some variation to the gold structure in the middle to keep it from looking solid yellow. Like maybe the walls are wood or stone. Just something to break it up a bit visually.

For the blunderfuss, I would try and make the inside of the barrel black and maybe hit up some shading on the wood and the metal a bit. Just from dark to light from the start of the metal up to the tip of the gun. That's it but the'se are super cool!
I would maybe remove the green vines (or maybe all but the stuff on the tip) and change the wood to metal. Basically those things break it up visually and make it feel a bit noisy. I think if you took off the outer vine voxels and simply shaded/colored the voxels on the anchor itself a greenish color you may get a nicer look. Also keep an eye out for color blending. the rust on the anchor is just single red squares and the color should be blended a bit better with the surrounding colors.

The bronze box unlocks at 5 patron points and is a little more than twice as good. Now we're getting somewhere.
What about... more? Well, this was an experiment. If people end up not wanting more or not being in to them then we can remove it and be no worse for wear (except maybe a little sarcasm). However if people like the idea it's something we can easily expand to have better boxes.
