Restocked Rewards and Reopened Contributions

We'd like to let you all know that after several months of being out of action we've (mostly) finished our tweaks to the contributions system and added some new rewards.

What is the Contribution System?

The contributions system is a way for site users to submit data to us to fill in our gaps, you fill in a form with some data, and we review it
We grant 1 Reward Token for 30 Contribution Points (typically 1 Contribution Point per edit, but some fields are worth more) more info at https://trovesaurus.com/contributions
Reward Tokens can then be used to claim collections or packs on the Rewards Page more info at https://trovesaurus.com/rewards

What are some of the new rules, and where can I find them?

Some of the existing database entries do not match the new rules - existing entries can be updated to match our style guide

We aim to give every user a fair chance to claim something they have worked towards to, so now everybody has to wait 30 days before they can claim another code of the same type. This means no one can hoard tokens and claim all the codes of a pack as soon as it becomes available.

You can still share your hard earned rewards with your close friends, but DO NOT SELL codes you claim from Trovesaurus!

We do not generate the codes, the Trove team provides us with the rewards - this system is based on mutual trust. But nobody can guarantee that a code you are buying or selling is valid, and we will not provide any support for anybody that did not personally claim a code from us.

With that, anyone caught or reported to us for selling the codes claimed from Trovesaurus would be suspended.
