Thanks for taking part in our Junebugfest, where we asked you to draw fan art for the Trove VFX Artist Junebug. We've checked with her and are ready for the results, she wanted to leave comments for everyone, so additional notes are displayed here.

Highlights

I love the joyful expression here! The treatment of the eyes and the hair is fantastic, what a great way to stretch a very basic model!

Great drawing and color skills! I love the subdued colors and the unique poses, and the little embellishments on the costumes. Beautiful work.

Kairu is doing more with less! I love the bold linework and the delightfully simple color. The photobombing butterfly made me laugh, great sense of humor!

I adore this one! Beautiful shadows and lighting. The armor is very impressive.

Notes

Junebug wanted to leave notes for the other entries, and are as follows.

JuneBug protecting butterflies

I love that this one tells a story! Plus, I really love butterflies and hate spiders, so this is perfect! (The spiders do look really cool, though!)

Junebug & Poop

A BONUS DUNG BEETLE! I love (most) bugs too, so I love this creative take. I can tell you studied beetle anatomy very closely!

Cut off leaves

Ooh, an action scene! This drawing feels very Trovey! I like the hair-over-the-eye look, too!

He's blue

Wow, there is some great, creative lighting going on here! The pixilation effect in the hair is very unique and really sells the Neon Ninja’s digital flavor!

Ooh, the colors on the face came out really nicely! The yellow eyes really pop, here!

Junebug

I love the cute, unique style! The coloring gives it a very soft, pleasant look. Very huggable character!

Junebug Poops Again

Great job on incorporating Trove’s voxel-based style! And you got the aura on the sword!

The side shot is very unique and I love how the scarf gives a sense of motion! This ninja looks like she’s ready for business!

Pretty entries are pretty and it was really nice from Keetsie that she commented on each piece.
