A quick glance on badges and how to get them.

Badges are pretty much in-game achievements. They are officially separated in three categories: gameplay, social, and dragons.

Gameplay

There are six badges within the gameplay category with the addition of Patron Points which is not directly involved in gameplay but that is up to the player's discretion.

Dungeon Completion

This badge is usually obtained with regular gameplay, although getting to the higher rewards does require a bit of focus.

Blocks Destroyed

This badge does make you go out of the way to obtain it. The general weekly contest for blocks destroyed is motivation enough.

Boxes Opened

Adventure Boxes have become rarer, however the developers have changed Wednesday from Fishing to Gem Boxes so it's easier to obtain more for opening.

A badge you get by logging in every day in a row. Not difficult to get if you're diligent!

Due to the developers replacing Wednesday's Fishing day with Gem Boxes day, it takes a lot longer to get this badge. It should take at least 135000 Glim minimum to afford the lures to obtain 15000 items by fishing.

There are only two categories in social: Friends and Refer a Friend.

There is currently a bug that adds ignored players to your friends count in the badge section so make sure you have that many friends in your friends list and not ignored.

To refer a friend to Trove, go to the Trove website and get a referral key then ask your friend to input the key when they register. You do not obtain the badge until they reach Mastery Rank 20.

Dragons

There are currently eight dragons with badges. Even so, there are more dragons in-game that grant similar bonuses but are not tracked within the badge system.
