Discover Delves: A highly anticipated dungeon crawler feature filled with new monsters, biomes, and treasures as you dive deep to face unique challenges that lurk below! The Trove Delves update is now available across all platforms (PS4, Xbox 1, and PC).

Delves are new, endless dungeon experiences that you and your group will have to overcome obstacles, enemies, and time constraints in order to open your exciting rewards! The Delve difficulty comes customly catered towards the daring Trovians in each Delve.

Race against the clock to clear the bee-infested caverns of The Hive or the crate-laden, pirate-haunted caves of Flakbeard's Hideaway to take yourselves to deeper depths! Rescue Geodians, craft battle flags from the times of yore, and stop the corrupted bosses from all across Trove from breaking out of the Delves.

Each Delve comes with its own set of rules, defined by Deltaliths. These Deltaliths represent anything from additional HP on individual enemies to locking you to one jump, ensuring that the challenges below are different from the ones above!

The process is simple: queue up, drop in, slay enemies, survive the boss and net yourself some sick loot. Do this within the time limit and you’ll be allowed to open the portal to the next floor, where a deeper and more difficult Delve awaits you!

Delves
• Delves are a new type of gameplay, combining the Geode caves with procedurally generated endless combat! Run through a Delve, complete the objectives, and then defeat the boss quickly for rewards and the opportunity to keep going deeper! As the Depth increases, so do the challenges and the rewards.
• There are 3 kinds of Delves – Public Delves, Private Delves, and Challenge Delves, each with their own set of rules.
• Once queued for a Delve of any type, the player will stay queued even after going to another world (there will be a bright delve “idea” glowing overhead and a delve queue icon under the HP bar as a reminder.)
• Players who log out while queued will be unqueued.
• Up to eight players total can enter any Delve. In Private Delves players can be invited after the Delve has started, but in Public and Challenge Delves players can only rejoin if they were part of the original Delve queue.
• Delves allow players to use their modules from the geode caves as well as engaging in combat – unlike adventure worlds where players switch between combat and build mode, in Delves players switch between combat and discovery mode.
o The final rank of Path Painter upgrade only applies in the Geode Caves.
o The Shield Barrier has different behavior in Geode Caves and in Delves. In Delves it:
Lasts 60+ seconds (scales as it is upgraded)
Reduces incoming damage by 15-35%
Combines with a level 6+ Vaca-matic if also equipped, allowing the shield to pull in enemies when struck while active
o The Thumper rank 7 upgrade also causes it to make Delve enemies visible through walls.
• Delves are dangerous, and death matters! Each time a Trovian dies, they must wait 5+ seconds before they can release. This time increases each time the Trovian dies. This timer is reset each time a boss is reached, and has no impact on how long it takes to resurrect other players.
• Releasing in a Delve will return the player to the beginning of that Tier.
• An "Intra-Delve Transport"--conveniently placed at the beginning of each Delve Tier--can be interacted with to transport a player to the forward-most checkpoint in the Delve.
• Clearing any room of all its enemies in a Delve Tier will make it a checkpoint, as indicated by a shaded-in blue background on the Delve-room display (where the compass is normally).
• When a boss is activated, any players still working their way through the path to the lair will be offered a teleport to the lair room to join in the fight. If the prompt is missed (possibly due to food delivery!), the player might miss out on the loot but will still teleport you to the group in deeper depths.
• Delves have modifiers signified by Deltaliths, visible in the first room and in the lair room. There are many of these modifiers, including ones that make enemies only take damage in melee range, have reduced health and take extra damage, increase or reduce their Darkness stat, and many more.
• Deltaliths at the entrance of Delves will appear next to the trophy of the enemy they affect.
• Delve themed Adventures can be found in the Delve building in the hub as well as occasionally after a delve level is completed.
• Delves are themed around existing biomes with a few surprises.
• The hive delves introduce a new liquid, honey! Honey increases health regen for players who stand in it, but will also dismount and slow down movement. (There are no fish that can survive in honey – it’s the birds and the bees, not the fish and the bees.)
• Before the Cursed Skulls will spawn in a given Delve Tier, players must complete an objective such as defeating a certain number of enemies, gathering Crystals, or gathering Ore,
• A boss trophy appears before every Boss Lair to give a quick indication of what boss players will be facing. The lair will also have Deltaliths indicating what challenges will accompany the boss.
• If the boss is reached and defeated fast enough, a Ready Station will appear. Interact with it and stay close by to speed up how fast the portal to the next level will appear!
• If the team took too long to reach or defeat the boss, a sign will appear and not allow access to the next delve level. Don’t worry – the next delve is always just a queue away.
• Flasks automatically refill once the boss is summoned and at the start of each new Delve Tier.
• Pell is available after the lair boss is defeated to allow players to switch between modules. Other NPCs and helpful adventuring objects might also appear after the boss is defeated.
• Expert Delvers may learn to spot signs in the Delve path that will indicate which way leads to the lair – it can be easy to get turned around in the middle of combat. Note that while these indicators are useful, some harder delves may have this indicator removed.
• Only 78 consecutive depths can be completed in a single delve run; upon reaching the 78th consecutive depth players will receive a message asking them to restart the delve and not allowing them to progress further.
• Stealthed Neon Ninjas can walk through the Blocky Components present in the Neon Underground delve biome.

Public Delves
• To enter a Public Delve, find the Public Delve Queue Portal in the hub where the Bomber Royale building used to be located, then just interact with the portal to enter the queue. The maximum amount of time spent in the queue should be no more than 10 minutes. Interact with the portal again at any time to unqueue from the public delve.
• A Delve entrance can also be found in the Geode hub down by the Geode cave portals.
• The difficulty of Public Delves is determined by the Public Delve Score for the queued class of each player that ends up in the Delve group.
• When queuing for a public delve, be aware that only the class active when queuing will be allowed. Private and Challenge Delves allow switching between classes at any time.
• The Bomber Royale portal is still available in the hub – look for it and the merchants in a small tent near where they used to be located.
• /joinme can be used to reinvite players who may have disconnected, but cannot be used to invite new players into a Public Delve.

Private Delves
• The difficulty of Private Delves is determined by the Public Delve Score for the queued classes at the time the Delve starts.
• A “Delve Gateway (Private)” – craftable at the Delve Workbench in the hub – can be placed anywhere, but once placed anyone can use it to register for that Delve.
• A single Gateway can be placed while in build mode. Placing the Gateway will automatically queue the player for the Private Delve. Up to seven more players can use the placed Gateway to be queued with the owner.
• The owner of a Private Delve Gateway can interact with it to proceed; the first interaction will send a message to all queued players to get ready, and the second interaction will rush the queue and send everyone in to the Delve. If at any time a full set of eight players are queued, the Gateway will immediately trigger and force everyone in to the Delve.
• If a Gateway is broken using the mining laser, it will return to the destroyer’s inventory and unqueue all queued players. If at any point there are no players nearby, it will unqueue everyone and destroy itself.
• Private Delves allow players to change their class at will.
• The /joinme command can be used to invite more players (up to a maximum of eight unique players can join a single Delve).
• Note that Private Delves are much stricter on what items and mounts can be used. Only Delve mounts and wings may be used.

Challenge Delves
• Challenge Delves are a fair playing field for all teams of delvers to compete against each other to see who can go furthest.
• “Delve Gateway (Challenge Mode)” and “Delve Gateway (Challenge Easy)” can both be crafted at the Delve Workbench in the hub.
• In standard Delves, every new Depth gives you a random Biome. You may find bees at Depth 110 in one Delve, and the Neon Underground at Depth 110 in another Delve. A “new” “Depth 110” is generated each time you visit a Depth 110 Public or Private Delve. In Challenge Delves, though, Depth 110 is only generated once each week, and all players must compete against the same monsters, the same objectives, and the same bosses to see who can get the Deepest, and who can do so the Fastest.
• Challenge Delves start at Depth 110.
• Any time a group successfully moves past a floor in Challenge Mode, the Challenge Delve Depth is saved. Every time a “Delve Gateway (Challenge Mode)” is placed it starts at the saved Challenge Delve Depth. “Delve Gateway (Challenge Easy)” always opens at Depth 110.
• At the end of the week, each player's achieved challenge depth will decay by 8, but will never drop below 110.
• Leaderboards will track not only the deepest depths, but also which group cleared any 3 consecutive tiers in the fastest time. The purple name is now associated with the top 100 players who reach the deepest challenge depths.
• Class switching is allowed in Challenge Delves, but only players who were in the original queue can join or be invited.
• Only Delve mounts or wings may be used.

Delve Rewards
• After defeating the Boss, a Pressurized Chest will appear! Every 3rd consecutive Tier this will be a Heavy Pressurized Chest with additional loot.
• After Depth 25, when a Heavy Pressurized Chest appears, a Shadowy Soul Vault will also appear, containing special rewards like Titan Souls, Lunar Souls, Despoiled Divinity, and Shadow Caches.
• A Delve Shadowkey is required to open the Shadowy Soul Vault. Delve Shadowkeys can be crafted at the Delve Workbench in the hub or at the Shadow Key Mold that appears within the Boss Lair after the Boss is defeated.
• Shadowy Soul Vaults can be opened an unlimited number of times, but players will only receive Titan Souls, Lunar Souls, and Despoiled Divinity from the first 6 Shadowy Soul Vaults opened each week.
• Shadowy Soul Vaults will only appear on specified depths in challenge delves after the completion of at least 3 consecutive depths.
• Binding Darkness can be found in chests and additionally has a small chance to drop from enemies in Delves.
• Shadow Shards are now available from picking up the crystals inside of delves after a certain depth.
• A new currency – Inert Geodes – can be acquired inside the Delves. Only a certain amount of this currency can be obtained at any given time, so make sure to use it before hitting the cap!
• The currency cap for Inert Geodes can be increased by obtaining an Inert Geode Wallet. Three wallets are available: two on Rokatan, the large merchant in the Delve building in the hub and a third on the Store under the “Geode” tab.
• Inert Geodes can be used to purchase mounts and wings that will work in Private and Challenge Delves or to craft a variety of objects at the Delve Workbench.
• "Pressure-Locked Delve Caches" can be purchased for Inert Geodes from a Geodian merchant trapped within Delves - open them to find exciting new Delve-related goodies! They can also be obtained as drops from Heavy Pressurized Chests, as a reward for donating Inert Geodes, and occasionally sold or exchanged for other Delve related goods.
• New delve recipes for advanced tracking potions can be found on Geodian Merchants that are also trapped within Delves. Trapped Geodians are freed occasionally when defeating Delve Lair Bosses.
• A new type of collectible can be found in Delves – Mementos. Each Memento grants mastery and is based on the enemies encountered in the Delve Tier.
• Mementos decay after 3 hours of online time if they are not learnt, but can be deconstructed in to Pressure-Locked Delve Caches.
• New Banners can be obtained through Delves. These banners can be crafted by combining poles, flags, and Inert Geodes at the Delve Workbench in the Hub.
• Decorative versions of these banners can also be obtained for players who want to decorate their cornerstones and club worlds. These recipes are sold by Pebble traders found when defeating Delve Lair Bosses.
• In addition to the Light Banners craftable at the Delve Workbench, for those with Enchanted Seasinew Torches or Enshadowed Tendril Torches, new recipes to upgrade these items can be found on the Sunseeker's Crystalforge in Geode Topside. These new upgrades can be deconstructed back in to the Enchanted Seasinew Torch or Enshadowed Tendril Torch.
• Delve allies can be rarely found in appropriate biomes within Delves or crafted at the Delve Workbench.
• Some of the Shadow Tower bosses have crept in to Delves and in the process have picked up some new mounts! Hydrakken has been unable to move his wall underground, but the others can occasionally be found. Daughter of the Moon has acquired 3 new mounts, while Pinata God, Spikewalker, and Weeping Prophet have all acquired 1 new mount.
• In addition to Crystal gear, Delves is the only place where Crystal 4 is available, but only for the most intrepid and hardened of explorers!
• Delves also give 6 badges for completion of Public, Private, and Challenge delves.

Vaca-matic Module
• The Vaca-Matic, a new module, is now craftable at the Module Workbench. The Vaca-matic sucks in nearby crystals in Geode Caves and nearby enemies in Delves.

• The bonuses for Delve Day are:

• The soul rewards that can be earned in delves have been tripled to match the old rewards for shadow day with patron active. 5 Despoiled Divinity can now be earned per week, up from 3.

Shadow Tower Changes
• Shadow Towers now open directly to the boss lair, but there is an increased cost to open the portals.
• A reset button is available to allow players to fight the boss again. Fighting the boss for a second time will not provide rewards but will increase metrics. This button has a 45 second cooldown.
• Shadow Towers have had titan and lunar soul drops removed. These can now be obtained through Delves.
• The Shadow Tower purple name has moved to the Challenge: Deepest Depth (Weekly) Leaderboard.
• Binding Darkness & Starfire Dragon Egg Fragments no longer drop in Shadow Towers and now occasionally come from the chests found when completing delve floors. Starfire dragon fragments can now be found on world bosses outside of shadow towers.
• Shadow, Moon, and Eclipse Key Fragments are no longer obtainable

This new and endless-dungeon experience sets you loose on countless caves full of enemies and obstacles at a difficulty custom catered to you and your group.

Race against the clock to clear the bee-infested caverns of The Hive or the crate-laden, pirate-haunted caves of Flakbeard's Hideaway to take yourselves to deeper depths!

 Lasts 60+ seconds (scales as it is upgraded)
 Reduces incoming damage by 15-35%
 Combines with a level 6+ Vaca-matic if also equipped, allowing the shield to pull in enemies when struck while active
o The Thumper rank 7 upgrade also causes it to make Delve enemies visible through walls.

• Shadow, Moon and Eclipse Keys and Fragments can be crafted into delve fragments for a limited time, and then will be removed from the game (currently planned for Jan 1, 2021)

A Note on Delve Balance
The Delve system attempts to match groups of random players with appropriate challenges. But to do this successfully it needs lots of data about just how difficult those challenges are. Thus, especially in the early days, the challenges you face in a Delve may be way too easy, or way too hard. This is why we need players not just giving feedback, but also actively trying to get as deep as they can, giving the Delve system as much data as we can so that it can make a more balanced experience
  • Delves are a new type of gameplay, combining the gameplay of the Geode caves with procedurally generated endless combat! Run through a delve, complete the objectives, and then defeat the boss quickly for rewards and the opportunity to keep going deeper! As the depth increases, so do the challenges and the rewards.
  • There are 3 kinds of delves – public delves, private delves, and challenge delves. Currently only public and private delves are available.
  • Once queued for a delve of any type, the player will stay queued even after going to another world (there will be a bright delve “idea” glowing overhead as a reminder.)
  • Players who log out while queued will be unqueued.
  • Up to eight players can enter any delve. Note that this is not eight players at a time – each delve is locked to those eight unique players.
  • Delves allow players to use their modules from the geode caves as well as engaging in combat – unlike adventure worlds where players switch between combat and build mode, in delves players switch between combat and discovery mode.
  • Delves are a dangerous place. If the player dies, allies will be able to resurrect them in four seconds.
  • Each death will increase the time it takes to release by five seconds – i.e. the first death will take five seconds, the second death ten seconds, the third death fifteen, etc. (This accumulated time is reset when the lair boss is available and on advancing to the next depth.) Ressurrection by allies always only takes four seconds.
  • Releasing in a delve will return the player to the beginning of that delve tier, but there is an intra-Delve Transport that will teleport the player forward to the farthest fully cleared room.
  • Whenever all creatures in a room are defeated, that room will be “checkpointed” and be made available for fast travel from the entrance. A checkpointed room will have a blue glow appear somewhere in the room, and the room’s box in the tier progress bar will be highlighted.
There are many of these modifiers, including ones that make enemies only take damage in melee range, have reduced health and take extra damage, increased or reduced Darkness, and many more.
  • Delves are themed around existing biomes with a few surprises – initially on PTS brave the depths of The Hive, the Saurian Swamp, or rarely a special surprise biome.
  • The hive delves introduce a new liquid, honey! Honey increases health regen for players who stand in it, but will also dismount and slow down movement. (There are no fish that can survive in honey – it’s the birds and the bees, not the fish and the bees.)
  • Delve objectives are also variable – some delves will ask players to defeat any enemies or specific enemies, while others will ask for crystals or ore to be gathered.
  • One new objective type called Monoliths asks players to hunt down a number of Monoliths, engage them, and defeat all of the spawned enemies.
  • A boss trophy appears before every boss room to give a quick indication of what boss players will be facing.
  • A personal chest, a shadow key mold, and more might appear after the boss is defeated. Flasks should automatically refill once the boss is initially summoned and again once the Ready Station is created.
  • Pell is available after the lair boss is defeated to allow players to switch between modules.
  • Expert delvers may learn to spot signs in the delve path that will indicate which way leads to the lair – it can be easy to get turned around in the middle of combat. Note that while these indicators are useful, some harder delves may have this indicator removed.
Public Delves
  • To enter a public delve, find the delve entrance in the hub where the Bomber Royale building used to be located, then just interact with the portal to enter the queue. The maximum amount of time spent in the queue should be no more than 10 minutes. Interact with the portal again at any time to unqueue from the public delve.
  • When queuing for a public delve, be aware that only the class active when queuing will be allowed. Private delves allow switching between classes at any time.
  • The Bomber Royale portal is still available in the hub – look for it and the merchants in a small tent near where they used to be located.
  • Mounts and wings can be used in public delves. (Ganda’s special ability will not work in Delves.)
  • /joinme can be used to reinvite players who may have disconnected, but cannot be used to invite players for the first time in to a public delve.
Private Delves
  • A private delve matchmaker can be placed anywhere, but once placed anyone can use it to register for that delve.
  • A single matchmaker can be placed while in build mode. Placing the matchmaker will automatically queue the player for the private delve. Up to seven more players can use the placed matchmaker to be queued with the owner.
  • The owner of a private delve matchmaker can interact with the matchmaker – the first interaction will send a message to all queued players to get ready, and the second interaction will rush the queue and send everyone in to the delve. If at any time a full set of eight players are queued, the matchmaker will immediately trigger and force everyone in to the delve.
  • If a private delve matchmaker is broken using the mining laser, it will return to the owner’s inventory and unqueue all queued players. If every nearby player instead runs away from it, it will unqueue everyone and destroy itself.
  • Private delves allow players to change their class at will.
  • The /joinme command can be used to invite more players (up to a maximum of eight unique players in to a delve).
  • Note that private delves are much stricter on what items and mounts can be used. Only delve mounts and wings may be used in private delves.
Delve Rewards
  • After defeating the boss, a chest will appear! (Different kinds of chests?)
  • A new type of collectible can be found in Delves – Mementos. Each Memento grants mastery and is based on the enemies experienced in the delve.
  • Inert Geodes can be used to purchase mounts and wings that will work in private delves, along with private delve gateways and a new set of allies.
  • Delve allies can be found in appropriate biomes or crafted at the Delve Workbench.
The Vaca-matic sucks in nearby crystals.
  • Crystals now have a small internal cooldown on giving back energy and reducing grappling hook cost.

  • Shadow Day is now known as Delve Day!
  • The bonuses for Delve Day are:

    • Patrons:

  • The Shadow Tower purple name has been retired, but will likely appear in Delves as a later reward.
  • Shadow, Moon and Eclipse Keys and Fragments can be crafted into delve fragments for a limited time, and then will be removed from the game (currently planned for Jan 1, 2021)
  • Shadow and Moon Gems will also be removed from the game with the keys and fragments.
  • Delve Key Fragments now drop instead of Shadow, Moon, and Eclipse Key fragments.

Club Fixtures
  • Fixtures are buildings that can be placed in Club Worlds to unlock mechanics, buffs, and even loot chance increases.
  • Benefits from Fixtures only apply in PVE – no placing a Mount Menagerie to get bonus jump in Battle Arenas!
  • At level 1, clubs can only place Base fixtures. Additional fixture slots will unlock as the club levels up.
  • Fixtures can be purchased from the Merchants located on the Trovian Clubit Union fixture. They can be upgraded, placed, or removed by a Club Member with the necessary Permissions on the Fixtures tab of the Club window.
  • The active benefits granted by each fixture can be viewed from the Club list (only for the primary club) and also from the Fixtures tab.
  • Fixtures cost Clubits up front when placed. Each fixture can be upgraded twice for additional Clubits (and an additional increase in weekly costs!)
  • Fixtures require rent (paid weekly) to keep their buffs activated. Placing a fixture for the first time will immediately charge the upkeep cost; upgrading a fixture does not immediately charge rent again, but will increase it.
  • There are 4 types of Fixtures: Base, Combat, Utility, and Ultimate.
  • Base Fixtures:
    • Rally of Heroes – Allows spawning of Adventure Heroes at Hero Rally Points. These Adventure Heroes can be managed by a Club Member with the necessary Permissions on the Adventures tab of the Club window. The Rally of Heroes Fixture cannot be upgraded or removed while Adventure Heroes are present. This fixture has no rent cost.
      • Level 1: Granted for free, 3 Hero Rally Points are available
      • Level 2: 2,500 Clubit upgrade cost, 4 Hero Rally Points are available
      • Level 3: 5,000 clubit upgrade cost, 5 Hero Rally Points are available
    • Trovian Clubit Union – Any member of the club can donate clubits at the “Club Vault” machine. Club Members with the necessary Permissions can purchase new fixtures for the club from the Club Combat Fixture Merchant, Club Utility Fixture Merchant, or Club Ultimate Fixture Merchant. If a fixture is unavailable for purchase it means the club either doesn’t have enough cubits or isn’t a high enough level. The Clubit Minting Machine allows any player to convert Adventurine in to Clubits (both found in the currency inventory.) This fixture has no rent cost.
      • Level 1: Granted for free, Club Clubit cap of 3,000
      • Level 2: 1,000 Clubit upgrade cost, Club Clubit cap of 9,000

A Closer Look at Clubs Fasti / Trove Forums

The post is quite long, so we won't preview it right now. Show

We’re just days from the launch of Trove – Adventures on the PC, Mac, Xbox One and PlayStation 4! This week we’re going to take an even closer look at some epic new club features coming on November 14th – Fixtures, Adventure NPC, Clubits, and the Adventure Window UI.

Fixtures
Fixtures are pre-built structures that you can set up in your club world to give boosts, spawn vendors, or summon a new type of NPC that grants all-new adventures! Each fixture has a set cost in “Clubits” which is a currency earned in-game and donated to the club by members. In addition to the initial cost there is a weekly Clubit fee to keep the fixtures active.

There are a ton of fixtures available as your club levels up, and every member of the club can help it gain experience by completing adventures. As your club grows you can upgrade your fixtures to provide better buffs and perks.

Types of frameworks include:
  • Base – Allow summoning of NPCs & a bank for storing in-game currency used to cover cost of various fixtures.

  • Combat – Give buffs to every member of the club that increase their power in PvE (fixture buffs won’t apply in PvP).

  • Utility – Special vendors, a fixture that allows your club to place down mounts as a display item to show off your club’s rarest of the rare, and more!

  • Ultimate – These are the biggest and best of all the fixtures. Bonuses include giving members a chance to land a double hit when attacking, reducing the rent on all your fixtures, or a chance to refill the flask charges of any member when in fighting enemies.

Club Adventures
The Rally of Heroes fixture is one of the earliest available and it is how Trovians will be able to pick up, and complete, Club Adventures. There is a huge array of objectives available from the different Heroes that give out Adventures.

Complete adventures to earn Adventurine. Adventurine is a new currency you can use to buy items or convert into Clubits to donate to your club to help upgrade and maintain fixtures.

Adventure Window
With Adventures we’re also adding a new interface for tracking all your various objectives. The Adventure Window is a quick guide for seeing what tasks are at hand. You can also drop any accepted adventures directly in the window.

We can’t wait to unleash this massive free expansion to all of you – fortunately, we don’t have to wait much longer!

Clubs have received a major upgrade in the Trove – Adventures expansion. Here are some details to help you and your mates get started.

Existing Club Owners
  1. Designate a club President. There can only be one! All other leaders will now have the Vice President (VP) rank. This is to ensure there’s a level of accountability and ownership now that clubs are much more than just a building space and a chat channel.
  2. Evaluate club permissions per member rank. Ensure that all ranks have the permissions that are appropriate for your club. We assigned them by default but now you can fully customize them.
  3. Ensure your members have the correct rank. Builders and newly appointed administrators may need to be promoted.
  4. Get started with the new Adventures and Fixture systems by placing your Rally of Heroes and Trovian Clubit Union in your Club World. Once these fixtures are placed members can start taking adventures, earning adventurine, converting it to clubits, and donating them to the club vault. Remember, clubits can be used to buy new fixtures and upgrade existing ones. Your club will also earn experience every time someone completes an adventure from an NPC so rally your troops and get started!

Existing Club Members
  1. Designate your main club. This is the club you’ll receive benefits from. You can change your main club every 24 hours.
  2. Start going on Adventures for your club, and other clubs you’re friends with! You can take 3 adventures from your club and 3 from other clubs simultaneously. Stack similar ones for maximum profit! $$$
  3. Convert some of your adventurine to clubits and donate it to your club’s vault. This will help your club buy new fixtures and upgrade existing ones. There are also some great rewards to buy with your adventurine inside the Club HQ at the Hub World.
  4. Beef up your POWER RANK. Your Club’s Power Rank is equal to the combined total PR of its top 50 members. Help boost your club on the leaderboards today!

Non-Club Members
  1. Join a club today! Visit the new Club Headquarters (HQ) building in the Hub world by the Sun Goddess statue. Travel through active portals in the Club HQ to visit the club worlds of other players. You can take adventures from their NPCs to help them earn Club Experience and gain Adventurine for yourself at the same time!
    1. Portals in the club world will take 24 hours to populate so check back later if they’re deactivated!
  2. Make your own club! There’s no better time to get started than right now. Explore all the great new club features by becoming a Club President. You can craft a Club Card on the Builder’s Crafting Bench for a small amount of resources.

Advanced Club Tips
The fixture system incorporates a deep layer of economic management for club administrators. Your club will need to achieve a delicate balance of accumulating and spending clubits. There are twice as many fixtures than slots available to activate them all simultaneously. Plan ahead and stay on the same page with your members so you can work toward a common goal!
  • A club may only hold 3000 clubits in its vault with a tier 1 Clubit Union fixture. Upgrade it to tier 2 to hold 9000, and tier 3 to hold an unlimited amount of clubits.
  • Be careful when spending clubits to wake or remove NPCs. While these processes seem affordable, clubits spent this way add up quickly!
  • You must have enough clubits to pay rent each week to receive benefits from fixtures. It’s possible to remove fixtures to avoid paying their rent if your members think they’re too expensive. Remember that every time you place a fixture down, you pay its full week worth of rent.
  • Fixtures are designed to be incorporated into your club world designs. Empower your builders to use them in new and creative ways. The interior space of utility fixtures is mostly unfurnished so you can make them your own.
  • Fixtures may clip into existing blocks during the placement process. If an interaction point on a fixture is blocked by terrain you can lasermancy it to freedom.
  • If you place décor atop a fixture, please be aware that it will be destroyed during the upgrade process if the geometry of the new structure overlaps the placement of the existing décor. It’s better to be safe than sorry by removing all décor prior to the upgrade.
  • If you intend to terraform a club zone, consider removing fixtures prior to doing so otherwise you might find yourself in a situation that requires a lot of clubits.
  • Placing the Repose of Heroes fixture changes the pool of NPCs that can spawn at your Rally of Heroes. Each tier adds 3-4 new NPCs to the spawn tables and ensures existing heroes will provide better adventures.
  • Make sure to collect Daily Clubits if you have the Travelling Merchant fixture placed. Any club member that has the FixtureInteract permission can do so.
  • The weekly rent value for fixtures can be reduced by placing the “Shrine of Efficiency” (Combat), “Scenic Belltower” (Utility), or “Effigy of Frugality” (Ultimate) fixtures. The downside is that rent reduction fixtures occupy a placement slot. These fixtures will stack their bonuses, so feel free to place an “Effigy of Frugality” and “Shrine of Efficiency” to really cut down that Combat rent!
  • It’s not possible to upgrade or remove the Rally of Heroes while NPCs are spawned on it. You’ll have to remove them first.
  • We’re working on adding a way to see how much a fixture costs to upgrade if you don’t have enough clubits in your club’s vault. We also plan to add a way to see what club level is required to buy a new fixture from an NPC at the Clubit Union.

Introduction
Welcome to the initial public testing period for the Trove – Adventures expansion! These notes provide detailed information about all the great new systems and content available with the update. While most of the features are nearing completion, please be aware that the content you experience may change prior to release of the update. This includes recipe ingredients, reward values, availability of systems, and gameplay balance. You will notice that some systems have yet to receive a final treatment but part of that is also due to us leaving room to incorporate your feedback. We know that there are a ton of notes but appreciate you taking the time to skim through them.
Some systems (like Tethering) are in a [Public Evaluation] phase. This means we need to evaluate how they perform in a populated environment before we add them to the live game. If you see the [Public Evaluation] tag on an update note, please try it out and let us know what you think. We hope you enjoy playing Trove – Adventures!
Character Copy to PTS
  • Characters can now be copied from Live PC to PTS by using the /exportaccount command on Live. This will not copy club worlds.
  • This will completely overwrite your PTS character with your Live character, including your cornerstones.
Clubs 2.0
  • Welcome to a new club experience.
  • The entire club UI has been renovated to support Adventures, Fixtures, and all the new Club Permissions. – open the club UI and use the Gear button to see all the specifics for that club!
  • Clubs can now level up as players complete adventures from the club. The club’s level controls what fixtures are available. There is a daily cap on the amount of experience a club can gain that scales with the number of members.
  • There is now a Club HQ building in the hub world, replacing the club portals.
  • The Club HQ has portals that lead to club worlds which are:
    • Popular (based on likes)
    • Small but Active
    • New Fixtures (based on clubits spent in the past week)
    • High Power Rating
    • Random
  • To appear in the Club HQ portals, a club must have spent at least 1 clubit in the past week; this is to prevent inactive clubs from appearing.
  • Going through these portals will place the player at the Rally of Heroes fixture in that Club World.
  • Fixed a bug where sometimes the first person in a club to log in was not listed as online within the club UI.
  • Club names are now displayed below the player’s name – an option to hide these can be found in the Settings menu.
Club Adventures
  • Heroes (Adventure NPCs) can be spawned at the Rally of Heroes fixture in a Club World.
  • Heroes are classified in several rarities: Common (White), Uncommon (Green), Rare (Blue), Epic (Purple), and Legendary (Orange).
  • Each Hero will remain spawned at the Rally of Heroes for a set amount of time. During their visit, they may fall asleep. These specifics may be managed by a Club Member with the necessary Permissions on the Adventures tab of the Club window.
  • The type of Adventures that Heroes give out may change over time. Their specific adventure tables are also improved by the addition of the Repose of Heroes fixture.
  • Completing Adventures grants a new type of reward currency called Adventurine (Inventory > Flux Tab > Dragon Coin Tab > Club > Adventurine). Patrons receive a bonus 33% Adventurine.
  • Players can complete up to 220 Adventures per day – this cap is intended to be higher than any player is likely to complete in one day.
  • Adventurine can be spent to buy these rewards:
    • New Club décor from the female merchant in the Club HQ at the Hub World
    • New Mounts, Styles, Allies and LED Block Recipes from the male merchant in the Club HQ at the Hub World
    • At the Travelling Merchant fixture (Tier 1-3) in a Club World
      • Must be a member of the club to access the Travelling Merchant
      • T2, and T3 Travelling Merchants sell additional items for Adventurine like Blocktron Dragon Egg Fragments, Club Empowered Gem Boxes, Aura: Atom Sphere, and Aura: Restless Remnants
      • Club Empowered Gem Boxes contain a random, guaranteed Radiant Empowered Gem
    • Converted to Clubits at a 10:1 ratio at the Clubit Minting Machine on the Trovian Clubit Union or T1/T2 Travelling Merchant fixtures
    • Converted to Clubits at an 85:10 ratio at the Grand Clubit Minting Machine on the Tier 3 Travelling Merchant fixture
  • Only a limited number of Adventures may be taken simultaneously – the current limit is 3 from your primary club, and 3 from other people’s clubs.
  • Incomplete Adventures will disappear from the Adventure Window one week after they were taken.
  • Adventures are completed immediately when their objectives are finished regardless of the player’s location or if the NPC is still spawned.
  • When an Adventure is completed, Club Experience is granted to the club it was taken from.
  • Unwanted adventures can be abandoned at will.
  • (PTS only) The Hero NPCs are still being a bit shy and are refusing to get their pictures taken until they collectively have a good hair day. Don’t worry, they’ll have icons in the Adventure window before the update goes live.

  • The “Architect” rank is now known as “Enforcer.”
  • A club may only have 1 President. At the release of the Adventures update the Leader (VP) with the most tenure/activity will be promoted to the President rank.
  • If the President of a club becomes inactive for more than 30 days a new President will automatically be promoted based on VP activity.
  • Club permissions are no longer linked to specific ranks within the club. The Club President and any other ranks that have access to “EditPermissions” can define what members can do within a club world.
  • Default permissions are defined for each rank and these settings are largely based on the range of permissions that existed prior to the introduction of this system.
  • Club permissions may be enabled or disabled on the Permissions tab of the Club UI.
  • Permissions List:
    • Modify – The default setting that allows a player to build (modify) in a club world. All club world zones may be modified by anyone who has this permission attached to their rank by default. • AccessControl – Allows the player to use the ‘/zonerestrict’ command to define Basic, Modify, or Expert modification permissions per Club World zone. The ‘/zonerestrict’ command now uses arguments of <basic/modify/expert/nobody> instead of <architect/officer/member/nobody>. The player using the command must be standing inside club world zone they intend to restrict.
    • BasicModify – Grants the ability to build (modify) in a club zone that has been sanctioned with the ‘/zonerestrict basic’ setting.
