Sunfest 2024
New
- 10 Step Questline where the player meets the new npcs, clears Cake Dungeons all over Trove, and more… and earns a new Pinzo’s Incredibly Charismatic Smile Hat Style.
- An new Leaderboard has been added to the Event that tracks things like players completing Sunfest Delves, Sunfest Dailies, Sunfest Cake Dungeons, and more...
- Anyone who participates at all will receive random Sunfest titles, although placing higher will grant more. Try to get all 14!
- These Leaderboards also award Mysterious Trophy Case: Events Edition to the top players.
- Each House Vendor features a new themed sail
Returning
- Cake Dungeons - Appearing all over Trove. These dungeons feature designs made by the community as well as our own designs.
- Defeating Cake dungeons rewards Cake Coins that can be used to gain many rewards from the event.
- Cake Dungeons are now filled with new cake enemies using recolored VFX for their attacks. Many of these enemies drop tradable versions of the collections crafted at the Sunfest Oven. A new sail will be dropped by the cake enemies as well.
- Cake Dungeons have a chance to drop a new boat in addition to the preexisting ally and two mounts.
- Sunfest Oven – The Sunfest Oven is where players can obtain the new collections and decorations featured during the event.
- The Dormant Worldspring Dragon Egg can be crafted here.
- The previous year’s Delves return but with adjustments. Generic bosses will no longer appear in them and the Chuck Pinzo boss will be featured every third tier of the Delve. Any other tier either the Triceratops bosses or a new foe will appear instead.
- Players were able to buy the delve decoration boxes for each house during last year’s event, and they still can this year, but if they wish to craft the specific decorations there are all new recipes on each of the houses workbenches. All previous year’s craftable collectables are available again and can be obtained by converting Trovian Finite Notes into the appropriate house’s unique currency.
