1/11 Talk to Trycrys in the Hub
A Battle of Fire and Ice 1/11: Hey there Trovian, I’m Trycrys of the Smoldering Clutch. How would you like to earn a few Dragon Coins? Meet with me near the Events area of the Hub and provided you’re willing to make a few enemies along the way, maybe we can be friends. Press [HK:Loot] to interact.

2/11 Collect Rime Crests (25)
A Battle of Fire and Ice 2/11: So I cant give you our Dragon Coins for free, you’re going to have to earn them. Have you heard of the Frozen Vaults? Well my new friend let me teach ya something about them. They can be found in the Permafrost deep underground. Usually you can’t find them, but the snow has melted enough that they’re exposed. The guardians there are known as the Rime Wardens, and they carry Rime Crests. The Smoldering Clutch and the Rime Wardens, well, we don’t get along so well. There’s a truce at the moment. I’m not saying you should do anything directly, but if you should happen upon some Rime Crests maybe I could happen upon some Dragon Coins for trade. Rime Crests can be found by defeating enemies in the FROZEN VAULTS, found in the PERMAFROST.

3/11 Craft at the Molten Anvil
A Battle of Fire and Ice 3/11: Look at that, you’re a natural bud. Head on back to the Hub and you should be able to see the Molten Anvil I’ve set up. It’s only visible to those that work for us, but you’re well on your way to being family if you keep this up. Craft something at the Molten Anvil with the Rime Crests, you’ve earned it! Craft something at the Molten Anvil in the Events Area of the Hub.

4/11 Defeat Frozen Vaults Bosses (5)
A Battle of Fire and Ice 4/11: Perfectly done Trovian, I sent the Dragon Coins through the Claims. If you're ever in the Frozen Vaults again you should head on down as deep as ya can. That’s where the leaders of the Rime Wardens tend to be. I’m not saying you should do anything but again, I might be able to find some more Dragon Coins…. Defeat a Boss in the FROZEN VAULTS found in the PERMAFROST.

5/11 Talk to Taigam in the Hub
A Battle of Fire and Ice 5/11: Trovian, are you in the Frozen Vaults? Oh no, it’d be great if you weren’t there. Some people in the Hub have been saying you were seen talking to Trycrys, this could get bad. You should head back to the Events Area of the Hub and speak with Taigam and get ahead of this before things get bad. Press [HK:Loot] to interact.

6/11 Collect Smoldering Marks (25)
A Battle of Fire and Ice 6/11: Outrageous, unacceptable, unforgivable! Trovian, what have you done? You dare attack the might of the Rime Wardens? You must know that should we wish it all of Trove would freeze. We- I’m sorry, my rage can at times be limitless. I suspect Trcyrys duped you into attacking us. Well two can play that game. He was probably subtle, devious, or coy. Well I was there when the truce was made, and there was nothing said about hiring others to fight for us. I’ll be blunt, go cause a ruckus for them and I’ll reward you handsomely. Collect Smoldering Marks as proof. Smoldering Clutch enemies can be found in the SMOLDERING VAULTS the DRAGONFIRE PEAKS.

7/11 Craft at the Frozen Anvil
A Battle of Fire and Ice 7/11: It’s been so long since there were any Smoldering Marks for us to fuel our Frozen Anvils with. You should come back to the hub and give it a try. Craft something at the Frozen Anvil in the Events Area of the Hub.

8/11 Defeat Smoldering Vaults Bosses (5)
A Battle of Fire and Ice 8/11: The anvils work again, perfect. As the Rimedrake says, ‘It’s not so much about how you say something as much as how much you’ll pay.’ You should find some of their leaders in the bottom of the SMOLDERING VAULTS and give them a little taste of their own medicine. Defeat a Boss in the SMOLDERING VAULTS found in the DRAGONFIRE PEAKS.

9/11 Talk to Qubesly in the Hub
A Battle of Fire and Ice 9/11: Now you’re in the Smoldering Vaults?! You’re not making things better Trovian! Ahhh, it took so long to work this out last time, but it looks like it’s up to me again. Head back to the Hub and speak with me, I should be able to figure this out again. Press [HK:Loot] to interact.

10/11 Choose a Side
A Battle of Fire and Ice 10/11: Well Trovian I’ve spoken with the Rime Wardens and the Smoldering Clutch and both sides have come to an agreement. There was no direct attack from one or another so their truce holds. You’ll be allowed to work for one or the other at your leisure, but I’d stay out of this If I were you. Each day you can choose who you’ll work for by speaking with Trycrys or Taigam. Be careful though, because when you make friends with one you make enemies of the other, at least in the Hub. Speak with TAIGAM or TRYCRYS to choose a side.

11/11 Complete Dailies (3)
A Battle of Fire and Ice 11/11: Each day you can declare for a faction by speaking with Trycrys or Taigam. This will allow you to see their crafting bench, the MOLTEN ANVIL or the FROZEN ANVIL for the rest of the day. In addition you will gain access to their daily quests for the rest of the day.
