Hi there!
Whoa, the sword looks epic! And your goal sounds epic too :) Good luck!
With this exact design though, it seems like there are a whole lot of colors that are only used on single voxels.
Soft and smooth gradients can look good, but its usually discouraged to use Gradient or Noise because they create a whole lot of various color shades that are not visible to the human eye, but count as different blocks on the model. The more single voxels like this are on the model, the harder it is for the game to render and display it. Sure, on a single sword it might not be an issue, but the more models like this are there, the worse it gets.
You can use the QB color tool to see how many different colors are there on the model - https://trovesaurus.com/colours .
The current design (_01) has 53 different colors, which is a lot. Notice that about the half of them is only used once.
With some cleanup, the model (_02) does not look drastically different.
Im sure that you can find colors that could be adjusted with less impact on the design:
The _02 uses only 25 different colors:
I hope this makes sense!
Aside from the color count, everything else about the sword looks absolutely perfect.
Im going to change the status of this creation to Active, but hoping to see it on Review again soon!
