Hello I am replying to share that I have finished updating the model to be in line with the Trove rules for design. Additionally, I have completed a costume and hat to accompany it. However, Since the Dracolyte has a transformation, which is not listed as an option for modelling, I am unsure of what to do regarding it. Finally, how should one go about submitting full sets of models (costume+hat+weapon)? Information regarding that would be appreciated.Hey there o/
I saw you had a creation on Review but then changed it to Active. Here is some quick feedback in case you still feel like working on this design:
- The idea sounds great, i dont think we have any staves like this one :) However, if you are planning to make a matching Dracolyte costume for it - please submit both costume and the staff together through the Mods section - https://trovesaurus.com/mods , once you have your mod uploaded there will be a green 'Submit' button that would allow Developers to consider adding mod to the game. Having a style both on Creations and as a part of the Mod might end up with duplicate entries in game if both get Accepted.
- It seems there are a few moments that need to be addressed before the design would properly work in game. There needs to be an Attachment Point (AP) - a pink voxel that tells the game where to place the model. Also, it seems like the current model is tiny bit too long, the maximum allowed length is 35 while this design is using 41. Such a restriction exists to make sure that a style will work properly on all classes that use same weapon type and not clip with the character model. The Staff guide explains it better :) https://trove.fandom.com/wiki/Staff_Creation_Guide
You can also use Troxel to check your design - open your model and find a TroveCreations part on the right sidebar. Chose a type of your creation from the drop-down menu and click on 'Lint and Export' button - it will automatically highlight all technical issues, if there are any.
- Also its always good to check your models in game, you can use either /weaponpreview chat command or override any existing Staff model with your design (only you will see this, other players do not see such things). There are instructions on how to use either of these methods in the Step 5 of our How to get started guide.
I hope this helps, good luck with your creations!
