@Seraphisto

Hah yea, mapping (and whole trove modding) can look really complicated from the first glance, but it really is quite straightforward once you get the general idea of what needs to be done :)

And thank you, i like to believe that if i explain thigs well enough on the first time, the next time users would be able to create amazing designs (that properly work in game!) all by themselves :)

Hello again :)

Deco looks just perfect, fun idea and a really great design!

Good job, happy to approve!

For future occasions, please be sure to name the blueprint according to the same pattern that in-game files use: type_name[CreatorsName].blueprint, which in your case would be: deco_retro_funguy[Seraphisto].blueprint .

There must be a Creators Name (your in-game name) so your creation could properly display author credit in game. It is also needed for Developers to properly grant reward currency to your account. Rest of the blueprint name can not contain any capital letters.

Hoping to see more creations from you :)

@Ylva

Hi, thank you for your help. i actually tried to get arround this mapping cuz it looked really complicated XD

But i think i got it right this time (after some trial and error).

i rellay like the tetris idea and so of i kept it in of course. i actually thought about what to do with the blank screen cuz it looked a bit boring the way i made it. but since its been way to small for the games that came in my mind i discarded this idea during the process. (didnt thought about tetris though ^^")

Also i wanted to say: i looked trough some creations and read your annotations with great interest and learned a lot this way. One can truly see how much effort you are putting into this. Actually this encouraged me to create something and i hope i can contribute a bunch of items to the game. So thanks a lot ^^

Hello!

Haha i really like this decoration! Seriously well done. Neon City colors are looking great on it, good choice :)

I see your Troxel link has glass blocks, but in game the decoration does not seem to have any transparency on that tiny screen.

Your material maps are currently looking like this, at least from what i can get out of your Troxel and blueprint:

Meaning, you have blocks marked as Glass on Type map (deco_t.qb) but your Alpha map (deco_a.qb) is pure Default white. You always do need to create an Alpha map if you are using Glass/Glowing Glass/Tiled glass on Type, without it game will render glass as opaque.

In Troxel you could see those Glass blocks being transparent even without the Alpha map uploaded, but thats just the way Troxel is set up :( What you see in game would always be more accurate.

That said, if you do want to have that glass transparent in game, you do need to add Alpha for it. I would also suggest to make use of Specular map (deco_s.qb) and add some Metal/Water (slightly less reflective than Metal) texture. You dont have to use Specular, but it does add a little bit of extra charm to models :)

If you would compare those two variations side by side in game they would look like this, Specular maps are better seen in motion.

You had some of non-black colored blocks behind the green glass screen and they looked like Tetris pieces, i couldnt resist to try that out :P

You do not have to apply any of those suggestions from above aside from the Alpha map which is mandatory if you have Glass on Type.

Im going to change status of your creation to Active for now, set it back to Needs Review once you upload changes.

If you would like to create something completely different - you could change the status of this one to Draft. That will hide it from the public list and will free up a slot for another creation.

I am hoping to see this one on Review again!
