Commented on Envenomed Impaler Spear creation

Hi there!

What a great idea for a spear! This snake would fit right in Trove :)

I see you already fixed the location of attachment point, well done! Material maps are looking good too.

The coloring on the model could use tiny bit more love. At the moment it appears as if the Gradient tool was used to color the spear - Gradient and Noise create tons of various shades of blocks that are not noticeable to a human eye, but so many colors overcomplicate models and make them harder to display . Hand-painted designs tend to look and work in game much better.

Current design has 59 different colors, most of which are only used once (you can check any qb model over here > https://trovesaurus.com/colours

I would suggest to pick 10-20 and use them to color the model.

Also! Please do not use Material Map colors as colors on the main model - these can potentially screw up the model when it gets converted from QB to blueprint! Currently the snake eyes use 255 0 0 RGB and this color is set to be Glowing Solid on Type map. Something like 255 10 10 would be perfectly safe to use and the visual difference would not be noticeable at all.

I ve made a quick edit using 11 colors from the ones that you already have on your model. This is definitely not the best possible option and you do not need to copy this! Im absolutely sure you can make a better looking snake, my attempt turned out really busy and is only meant to illustrate that something can look ok with much fewer colors used.
If you want to keep the darker colors on the tail darker and brighter colors on the front - please do! That would be perfectly fine too as long as the amount of colors used gets reduced.

Im going to change the status of this creation to Active for now, hoping to see it back on Review!

PS. the F12 Trove screenshot removes transparency, so if you want to showcase glass on your design you would need to use some other screenshot taking software. Personally i use GreenShot, it is free and opensource.
