There was a quest line that had to do with helping Rowan build the ship in the hub , one of the quests talk about cursed vale, Rowan said his ancestors were trovians who the sun goddess took to geode, they told Rowan he is from a place called golden vale. They said qubethulu cursed the land making it undead, hence the name cursed vale
