== FEATURES ==

NEON DRAGONS ARE NOW LIVE!
* You can now earn Neon Dragon Caches from challenges, or purchase them on the store!
* Neon Dragon Caches have an uncommon chance of dropping Neon Dragon Souls, and have a rare chance of dropping Dragon Coins.
* Dragon Coins can be used to craft previous dragon souls as well as for forging.
* There are now more levels of rewards for dragon progression! Since souls are more common, the required amount to max your progression has been set to 100.
* The chance to get 1000 Flux or 50 Eyes of Q'bthulhu from Neon Dragon Caches is slightly lower than it was with Azulian Dragon Caches.
* Crafting the Azulian Dragon Soul with Azulian Dragon Essences no longer requires a Dragon Coin as well as essences: it now costs 4 Essences and Glacial Shards. There is now a new recipe which costs 2 Dragon Coins and Glacial Shards only. In the future Dragon Coins will be usable to get other out of rotation Dragon Souls.


== GAME UPDATE ==

NEW IN THE STORE
* Chaos Chest has been randomized! This week’s contents include some hard to find mounts.


MECHANICS
* All boats now accelerate faster when not turning.
* NPCs should no longer get pushed around by Tomb Raiser minions.
* Friends are now visible through walls from further away, using a different color.


ADVENTURING
* Earthly Dragon Adventurer Chests no longer drop. They have been replaced with Panda Adventurer Chests, which have a chance of containing the rare Giant Red Panda or Giant Fae Panda mounts, designed by FriedSushi!
* The Neon City biome now shows up as a challenge biome.


UI AND SETTINGS
* The equipment comparison tooltip now shows correct difference for percentage based stat modifiers.
* Added rules to select an acceptable default fullscreen resolution if none is set when Trove launches.
* Added brightness and gamma controls to video settings.
* Added Whisper to player context menu in chat.
* The map legend now changes based on which world you're currently in.
* The game now mutes sound when it loses focus.
* When making Steam Wallet purchases without the overlay enabled the client now tells you that the overlay must be enabled for that action.
* The chest/loot-box opening UI now closes when the player moves or presses escape, just like all other UI elements!


LOOT
* New uncommon and rare staff styles have been added to the game!
* New Melee styles have been added to the game!
* *The granted Shadow Keys which were broken should now work.


CRAFTING
* Crafting can now start a second stack of an item.
* The Elysian Flask refilling station on the starting cornerstone is now lootable. This only affects newly created cornerstones, not existing ones.


BUG FIXES AND POLISH
* Implemented additional server and database optimizations.
* Fixed a bug where consecutive login stat could get reset when it shouldn't have. Really.
* Neon city "grass" now works like other grass, (will spread onto dirt).
* Fixed a bug where grass would sometimes change into the wrong type of dirt.
* The Sky Realm no longer incorrectly displays recipe icons on the worldmap.
* Master Magician and Master Cheep Emblem descriptions no longer incorrectly state they can be bought for cubits or credits from the store, and correctly state they can be obtained by achieving the appropriate mastery rank.
* Fixed an issue with Patron Passes not working when changing worlds soon after purchase.
* Fixed a bug where you lose bonus Patron Pass flask changes when changing worlds.
* Fixed a bug where the fog of war would not update correctly.
* Fixed a startup crash.
* Fixed a bug causing VFX to sometimes not appear.
* Clubworld maps no longer incorrectly use the dragon biome icon on the map for zones that cannot be modified.
* Fixed the unsightly flickering in the Warhorse and Radiant Steed mount VFX.
* Cursed Skulls no longer break apart when completed.
* Arcanium Crawlers have had their legs made more symmetrical.
* Slightly decreased number of log lines in the club log.
* Three-star dungeons should now use the correct portal on the outside when completed.

CONTINUED UI UPDATES
* The character sheet has new UI.
* The ESC menu has new UI.


CRAFTING BENCH ADJUSTMENTS
* For players in need of a Novice Crafting Bench, please visit the small hut in the Northern area of the Hub.
* The Crafting Bench has had a name change! It is now an Adventurer's Crafting Bench.
* Many recipes that used to be on the Crafting Bench can now be found on the Builder's Crafting Bench, which can be made at the Novice Crafting Bench.
* Many recipes that used to be on the Novice Crafting Bench have been moved to either the Adventurer's Crafting Bench or the Builder's Crafting Bench.
* The V crafting menu has been removed from the game.
* All recipes that were once on the V crafting menu have been moved to either the Adventurer's Crafting Bench or the Builder's Crafting Bench.
* Additionally, a Shadow Key Mold crafting bench has been added to Shadow Arena entrances and preparation rooms.
* The Advanced Forge has had its name legally changed to Enchanted Forge.

UI AND SETTINGS
* You can now hold down Alt for a quick way to get access to a free mouse cursor.
* In-world tooltips are no longer visible with the UI hidden (F7).
* Equipment stats comparison now shows unchanged stats; stats comparison no longer shows for items that can't be equipped.


LOOT
* Azulian Dragon Caches now drop fewer eyes.


CLASSES
* The descriptions for class abilities have been updated to be more specific. For example, Dracolyte's Avatar of Flame now notes that it increases movement speed, stability, and the damage of the Dracolyte's basic attack, while also reducing damage taken.
* Knight: Iron Will: This ability now heals you immediately, like flasks, instead of after a short delay.


ADVENTURING
* Desert Frontier zones have a new set of NPCs and quests that target them.
* The amount of ore veins that spawn in the world has been slightly decreased.
* The amount of Somber Soul spawns that occur in Undead Hills ore veins has been increased.


BUG FIXES AND POLISH
* Updated golden thread with new objectives.
* Fixed an issue with water simulation.
* Remove some unnecessary network messages.
* Optimized server animations.
* Dropped items and equipment now last 3 minutes instead of 1.
* Fixed bug where hitspark appeared when hitting other players with melee attacks .
* Fixed bug where lobber and falling traps did very little damage.


COMMUNITY CREATIONS
* New Novice Highlands lair from Stedms.

I'll add a caveat here too: it also may not be harder. We're working on this right now and considering different options that respect the time it takes to earn it without making it impossible for more casual players.

== FEATURES ==

DRAGONS
* The Azulian Dragon is the first dragon available via challenges, and will be available that way for a limited time!
* Consume dragon souls to advance your dragon and increase their powers.
* The Dragon Spirit will be added in a future update, and will grant passive benefits. There is one per challenge dragon type.
* Dragon Caches are available via challenges and the store.


CHALLENGES
* Challenges spawn at the top of the hour and last 20 minutes. You get points for completing dungeons and lairs with a 3X multiplier for Uber 5, 9X multiplier for Uber 6, and an additional 3X multiplier if you're playing one of the bonus classes chosen for you.
* The more points you earn (within four progressive ranks) the more Dragon Caches you get.
* Dragon Caches have Dragon Souls, materials to craft Dragon Souls, Dragon Coins, and a nice chunk of forging materials.
* You must be Mastery Rank 30 to unlock Challenges


BADGES
* Badges are a collection type that unlocks as your tracked stats increase.
* Badges currently go from bronze to gold, and grant mastery, Cubits, and in the case of Patron Points, fancy mounts!
* In the near future, badges will go even higher and also unlock other collectables.
* Stats tracked include:
 - Friends acquired
 - Quests completed
 - Blocks destroyed
 - Boxes opened
 - Consecutive days logged in
 - Total days logged in
 - Stuff fished
 - Patron points earned


UBER 6 & NEW EQUIPMENT RARITY: RADIANT
* Uber 6 portals can now be crafted and used. Uber 6 is hard.
* Uber 6 can drop up to Shadow Level 3 equipment and has a higher chance of dropping other rarities as well
* Shadow Level 5 equipment can now be forged.
* Radiant equipment can now be forged as an upgrade from Shadow Level 5.
* Radiant weapons have cosmetic VFX which can be randomized at the advanced forge for a nominal Glim cost.


== GAME UPDATE ==

NEW IN THE STORE
* Costume boxes can now be purchased in packs of 10! For the cost of 9!
* Chaos boxes have been randomized. If you're lucky, you might get a Chaotic Clipper, Chaotic Cruiser ,a uni-cycle and more!

MECHANICS
* Equipment now counts towards required level.
* Note: you can still join someone in a world or have them use /joinme
* The minimum required levels to enter Uber worlds have been increased:
 - Uber 2 - 12
 - Uber 3 - 15

 - Uber 6 - 32


CLASSES

BOOMERANGER
* Fixed uncommon server crash when using Boomeranger.
* Boomeranger projectiles are now faster.


GOLDEN THREAD
* Added a move cornerstone Golden Thread objective.


ADVENTURING
* Added a chance for Shadow-2 items to drop in Uber 5 adventure worlds.
* All equipment now has a better chance to drop with additional forge quality stars.
* The Summer Hub is now here!
* The hub generates higher on the terrain now.
* Small caterpillars no longer drop loot.
* Ore should now spawn 'clumpier'.


ITEMS
* Added item stats to consumable collection-unlocking items (like mounts, boats, etc.)
* Placeable crafting machines now trigger the 'are you sure?' prompt when dropped on the ground.
* SS Draconic, SS Dutchman, and Chaotic Clipper now trigger the 'are you sure?' prompt when dropped on the ground.
* The SS Corgi and SS Dinghy clippers have been retrofitted with helms; you will no longer need to rely on pirate voodoo to steer them.


BUG FIXES AND POLISH
* Deconstructing resulting in more than 9999 of a single item stack will now grant players the correct amount, instead of "just" 9999 of them.
* Fixed a bug where mastery point text in tooltips were very hard to read.
* Fixed a bug where many collectables showed 0 mastery points.
* Fix for forging breaking if you were using a forge while it was removed from the world.
* Fixed bug where quest triggers don't show instruction text; increased interactable area of quest triggers.
* Fixed bug in compass FOV Changing aspect ratio now correctly updates compass.
* Fae Boughskimmer should now give mastery correctly.
* Fixed a client crash.
* Source Spectre mask should no longer clip into hairstyles.
* Summer Pin Head should now display its icon correctly when trading it.
* Fixed a bug where water next to a cornerstone would not update after removing said cornerstone.
* Polish to Radiant Temple Prism Quests Audio.
* Onimous Totem audio - size increase.
* Fixed bug where equipped starter weapons disappeared until relogging if you forge them beyond your current level.
* Fixed a crash that would happen when pressing the spacebar and enter key at the exact same time.
* Color and lighting polish for tutorial, forest, desert, candy, undead, and peaceful biomes.
* Fixed bug where portal tooltips are high above the portal.
* Fixed bug where using the Rally Blade always toggled players being able to teleport to you and never teleported you to other players.
* Fixed a bug where if you opened chat while loading your camera would remain free when other windows were open and it would be really annoying.
