Lunar Lancer Subclass
Sorta Crazy - Chance during combat to transform and receive some power of the Lunar Lancer.
Stat Priority
Notes: If you have high Critical Hit, be sure to make your Critical Damage high, too.

Ring Notes: Energy regen is not helpful for boomeranger at ALL. He doesn't even have energy, so use your tentacles to get rid of energy regen or get better gear with attack speed in the second slot.
Ally and Flasks
If you don't have Lil Burgie, go for Rapt Berserker.

If your Mastery isn't high enough for the master cheep emblem, go for the Shadow Shrike. They are basically the same.
Empowered Gems
If your Power Rank isn't high enough to get Bawk Bomb (you get it from completing everdark arenas and using a class gem key), Explosive Epilogue is the fourth best gem.
Bawk-Bomb Class Gem
Big and Tiny Bombs become a Bawk-Bombs.
These spawns chickens that attack enemies for a brief duration.
Pyrodisc
Killing an enemy has a chance to generate a flaming disc that damages nearby enemies.
This gem has a cooldown.
Stunburst
Taking damage has a chance to spawn a ring of stunning projectiles, briefly disabling affected enemies.
This gem has a cooldown.
