The Pirate Captain, my personal favorite class. When you first start out you will have a low fire rate, low damage, and only one parrot turret. After you get proper gems, equipment, allies, and flasks you will be quite a force to reckon with.
DamageShadow Towers
Stat Priority
Notes: Critical damage and critical hit are important, as your turrets and bombs will get critical hits based on your stats.
Magic damage is obvious, as you deal magic damage.
Attack speed help to regain energy and upgrade your parrot turrets.
Ally and Flasks
Aliado
- 20.0% Dano Mágico
Reduz o tempo de recarga em 25%
Personally I use the prefect penguin, but optimally this one is preferred for shadow towers and pure damage.
Though if you want a bit of extra survivability then go for the penguin.
Frasco
You could cut Surestrike for Chronomantic if you'd like. I have and it allows me to get two of my ulti-turrets out at the same time.
+20% de Chance Crítica por 10 segundos
Empowered Gems
The gem abilities aren't the most important part, the stats are. Go for critical damage, critical hit, and magic damage. Though a bit of max health isn't bad for you, as you need to be in melee range most of the time.
ARR-tillery Class Gem
Two First Mate cannons double your firepower.
Explosive Epilogue
Killing enemies causes them to explode.
\n\nThis gem has a cooldown.
Stinging Curse
Dealing damage applies damage-over-time effects to enemies.
Text
When you play pirate captain, your goal is to postion your turrets in good locations. Don't toss your parrot turrets into holes, on low ground, or on high ground that is very close to the target. Keep them level with the target in close range to the target. With your ulti-turret you've got one shot to make it count, though it can survive a small mess-up that the parrot turrets can't, it still should be near your target, unobstructed by walls and distrations.
Your other goal is to spam your pirate bomb all over the place. When you have a group of 3-4 or more enemies you should be able to regain the energy spent on your bombs with a few shots. Your bombs are the only thing that use your energy so feel free to use it. Anytime you hit an enemy with your turrets, shoot them with your gun, blow them up with your bombs, or trigger a gem ability the shoots projectiles will restore energy. Once you experience your first pinata god with the pirate captain you will see how fun he can be!
