Fae isn't one of the best classes to play nowadays, it wasn't buffed as much as it should have when MoP started.
Shadow TowersPvP
Notes: Fae used to be the king/queen of DPS back in the day, and yet in PvP it's still great. Just as long as you don't get hit.
Stat Priority
Notes: If you'd like, you can swap some Attack Speed for Energy Regeneration.

Ally and Flasks

Of course, you'll be using a Magic ally, and this particular one grants a 20% reduced cooldown.

You can either use the Chaos Vial, or the Bandolier for more flasks. Use Surestrike if you're under 100% Critical Damage. This IS for Speedruns.
Empowered Gems
Aim for them all to be MD/CD/CH. The reason why you won't be using your class gem is because you lose the aggro from enemies, they automatically target your decoy.
Mired Mojo
Taking damage has a chance to spawn a ring of snaring projectiles, reducing enemy Movement Speed.
This gem has a cooldown.
Stunburst
Taking damage has a chance to spawn a ring of stunning projectiles, briefly disabling affected enemies.
This gem has a cooldown.
Cubic Curtain
Avoiding damage grants a protective shield, absorbing the next attack and stunning the attacker.
