This guide teaches the main methods of mining, and the optimal strategies for mining!

1. Lasermancing:

  • Lasermancing is the most common mining method, but is never done optimally. To do this in the best and most efficient way, create a WHOLE set of geat based on lasermancy and upgrade it to the lower shadow levels. Also, buy a diggsly. Then use the diggsly and this gear together when mining on your class.
  • To mine efficiently, focus on singular blocks or the line between multiple blocks so that no blocks regenerate health but as many as possible are destroyed quickly.
  • This method is supplemented well with bombs as they help to destroy useless blocks surrounding your precious ore. Use one per vein to uncover the vein of ore. If there is only one block visible at the surface dig straight down 2 blocks and bomb in there for best results.

2. Bombings:

  • Bombings are the quickest mining method.
  • Firstly find your vein of resources.
  • Secondly, bomb it out with an initial bomb if there are multiple visible blocks. If 2 or less blocks are visible at the surface then mine down 2 blocks and bomb it.
  • Once you do the initial bomb, finish off any almost destroyed blocks with your laser. If there are many block remaining then aim the bomb at the biggest cluster of ore and blow it up!
  • Finally, quickly mine any remaining blocks of ore and move on to your next vein!

3. Dragons:

  • This is an easy method but requires practice and precision, and a legendary dragon.
  • Firstly, find your vein of ore.
  • Secondly, jump about 5 times into the air on your dragon and hold space. Then quickly hold the S key to fall slowly.
  • Hold left click to see the path of your fireball and adjust to aim it at the ore. Do this quickly.
  • Once the dragon is lined up, and it can shoot the ore, spam left click to shoot as many fireballs as possible at the ore. Once you cannot shoot the ore anymore quickly head over to it and lasermine any ores left.

4. Boats:

  • Dont even try this. The cannon is way too weak, though it does have one use.
  • If you find ore on cliffs you sail past on the sea, spam cannonballs.
  • NOTE: Do NOT go up and finish off the ore vein unless you really need it as it is a waste of time as you should really be mining on land!

 Section 2: The Ores

NOTE: No ore is found in club worlds, except the sky realms of a club.

Shapestone:

  • Used for crafting mounts, workbenches and cornerstone props. One of the most common ores. Found in any biome except sky realm and hub biomes. Weak mining resistance.

Formicite:

  • Used for block conversion and crafting cornerstone props. Found in any biome except sky realm and hub biomes. Moderate mining resistance

Infinium:

  • Used mostly in crafting valuables or valuable mounts such as infinium PWN-E and infinium pemborg. Found in any biome except sky realm and hub biomes. It is most commonly found near dungeons. Strong mining resistance.

Golden Souls and Somber Souls:

  • Found in veins of other ore, very uncommon. Found in any ore vein except crystallised clouds in any biome except sky realm and hub biomes. Strong mining resistance.

Glacial Shards:

  •  Used for crafting cornerstone props and dragon souls. Found only in permafrost biomes. Weak mining resistance.

Primordial Flames:

  • Used in a few purposes such as crafting mounts. Found in any biome except sky realm and hub biomes. Strong mining resistance.

Crystallised Clouds:

  • Used for various purposes such as crafting the neon nightsky wings, or in runecrafting or for making updrafts. Found only in sky realm biomes. Strong mining resistance. Sometimes drops the nimble nimbus mount or the cotton candy ally when mined by lucky adventurers.

Thanks for reading my guide and I hope you have luck mining yourself!
