EtaewTrove has a referral system that rewards the person that refers another player once they hit mastery rank 30. Because of the way this is set up this has encouraged people to spam their referral links in various places as well as introduced a new way to scam players.
While applying these codes won't negatively affect your account, it does reward the person scamming and we would like to avoid that.
We recommend the following:
- Don't trade items or money for codes from players
- Don't click on links from people claiming free rewards
- Applying codes will not resolve any problems you have with the game, nor will they help you bypass queues
If you do click on a referall link, and your account becomes linked with a person you don't want to be, we suggest contacting Trove Support to handle it.
