Weapon Dimensions

The workable area for fists is a 6x9x5 area. This is the maximum size the weapon can be. As with everything, this can be fudged a bit when needed but overall, should stay within these guides.

The maximum dimensions for the base weapon are:

  • 5 voxels wide (X-axis)
  • 6 voxels high (Y-axis)
  • 9 voxels long (Z axis)


Handle size and attachment

Fists can be made more like a claw/knuckle where the hand would be (the 3x3x3 cube around the registration point). You can cover the back of the hand if you want to make something like a small shield or a glove of some sort.

The big thing to note is that the gloves on the Vanguardian costumes get gradually bigger, so if you extend your weapon up past the back of the hand you need to be mindful of how they will overlap the hand geo around the wrists, or you will have z-fighting and your submission will be rejected.

Be sure to pull the hands for the level 1/10/20/30 Vanguardian costumes and check your weapon on all of them to make sure there isn't any jank going on in the wrist areas

As stated above, the design can be adjusted to look like bare knuckles and/or claws. Here are some examples of how it can be adjusted. There is a lot of wiggle room but we still want to make sure that the overall size and shape work.
