Community Update: Exploits & Console Updates

During the past weeks, we received several mentions from players about unexpected game crashes when opening chests or while trying to log in to Trove. We have been investigating the reason for these reports and found that nearly each of these accounts was showing signs of owning or using items that are related to exploitative activities.

These activities are a direct violation of our [terms of use](https://www.trionworlds.com/en/legal/terms-of-use-games/). We will not work on a solution to restore these accounts as we consider these activities unfair to our loyal players, who are sticking to fair play and looking forward to new content.

We would like to emphasize that possessing or using irregularly created items can lead to irreversible damage to your account. To avoid any potential issues, we strongly advise players to carefully review their inventories and remove any items that may be questionable or seem too good to be true.

Additionally, we acknowledge that our console players may feel left behind compared to PC players regarding the latest updates. We assure you that we are actively working to bring the latest updates to consoles as soon as possible.

Should you encounter issues on login, please follow these steps below:

✅  Start you PS4
✅  Highlight Trove (don't run it)
✅   Press the "Options" button on the PS4
✅  Select "Delete" to delete the game. NO PLAYER PROGRESS WILL BE LOST.
✅  Go to the PSN Sony Store
✅  Search for "Trove"
✅  Download the game
✅  Run the game
✅  The game will connect and your progress will all be restored.
