Based on the response when we pitched the idea on the live stream on Friday and the discussion here on the forums we are going to launch the Wings of the Phoenix (the ones found in the Power Pack) one week ahead of the official full launch of wings.

There's a few reasons to do this, but fundamentally it comes down to the face that these are ready and we do like to, when we can, provide a little something extra for the people who support the game.

The rest of the wings will go live in the gigantic Take Flight update coming out the following week (targeting the 10th) which includes two sets of wings from mastery, one from shadow arenas, and one more from the store. Along with a new class (Shadow Hunter), new profession (Runecrafting), craftable wing-related blocks (updrafts), and the Sky Realm (a new unique world type designed around wings).

I also want to take this opportunity to talk more about the Power Pack. We designed this pack to be a easy and obvious first (and maybe for some even the only) purchase in the game. We wanted to add a lot of great and obvious value to an accessibly priced pack. I'm actually curious then, for anyone who has opted not to pick up the pack yet and is a dedicated player of the game, is there anything we could do to make it even more enticing and even less of a question of it is is worthwhile for you.
