Trove is free to play. All players are free players. Specific players can help support the game by making purchases, but that has absolutely no impact on logging into the game.

There was an issue with connectivity to EU servers for several weeks, but it should be cleared up now. Let us know what specific issue you're having if you can't get onto EU servers. The more info you provide the better.
