Surfin' Snowfest - Summary

A return of the previous year's event with new rewards and an additional storyline quest that has you saving Horned Rumpfus in the Treasure Isles.

The snowball fight mini-game returns as well as dailies and donations.

Summary

Theme: Donations and Gift Finding
*NEW/RETURNING* Last year from 12/25 – 1/1 players that logged in were able to claim a present in the hub that rewarded a unique ally collection. This present returns this year with an all-new ally.
*RETURNING* Players can craft a banner that gives a chance to spawn up to 3 different gifts that can each be opened once daily for rewards when defeating an enemy.
* RETURNING * Snowball Fight mini-game variant of Bomber Royale. Fast Paced and over quick.
*NEW* Lockbox containing a new skin, a new boat, a new fishing pole, and a new mount.
*NEW* Questline that takes the player to the Treasure Isles where they have some fun and save some Horned Rumpfus, eventually unlocking a new ally.
*RETURNING* Donation Station from years past that allows players to donate resources and get rewards.
*RETURNING* Present and Gift Dungeons with a mimic boss replacing the normal chest.
- *NEW* Present and Gift Dungeons now appear in the Forbidden Spires.

This is not far to beginners who wanna do this event and find out the new stuff is impossible to get cause they got to donate or buy gold keys for 2022 snowfest box’s.

Just wanted to note that although donating is one method to obtain, the items in the boxes could also be bought off the marketplace. For example, the fishing rod was about 85k. Its less than half an hours grind for players to obtain flux at most levels of gameplay. So if you dont have resources to hand, to donate for a chance, you could buy outright.

Resource devoured and forced payed to win 2022 snowfest box’s this is the getting old you need to stop forcing others to donate a bunch a resources or buy gold keys to get event stuff in this game it’s totally broke and you force people to throw away exorbant resources each year trove.

I'm with you on limited time items being way to hard to get during these event. There are plenty of event items that drop from delves that takes 100 hours to drop. But i would also like to mention that all but one of these items are sub 500k to buy from market (ps4).
