I hate to be such a pain, but dont you think the version 2 looks really close to this one https://trovesaurus.com/creation=505/jurassic-stone-egg ? I really do like the new specular mapping though, looks shiny and attractive.
Are you going for a set of different eggs on a same platform? In that case would suggest to make the eggs as different from each other as possible. Like, you cant mix up space rarebear with its golden version and so on. And so, if one egg is grey-ish and mapped with metal, the other one shouldnt be using same close-to-grey colors and mostly metal map.
We do have multiple types of enemies in jurassic, so may be those eggs could belong to Trogs/Avians/etc?
It is possible that im missing some intended unique usage for this deco, i apologize if that is the case. Could you may be include some more screenshots of it being used in other situations aside from being placed on the horizontal surface by itself? It seems to be 12 tall, so at the very least it could stack, right?
You have already created a wonderful variety of beautiful, unique and very attractive designs, im sure that with your creativity it should be no issue to come up with something that would make these egg decorations stand out too :)

Ah, dino deco \o/ That category has very few models so its good to see possible additions to it :)
That said, this glowing egg feels really close to 
Mysterious Glowing Shard, with dark bottom and glowing cyan top. Dont get me wrong, the model is really neat and well made, but with a few decorations that do exist in Jurassic category it feels like everyone would benefit more from having something unique in terms of visuals and/or usability, rather than another glowing cyan 'lamp' that could be placed on horizontal surfaces.
May be a wall version of this could work?
Im going to change status of this one to Active for now.
