You need to export the main QB + map OBs as separate files and drag main QB onto the devtool_dungeon_QB_to_blueprint.bat
located in your Trove/Live folder.
If files were named properly that will create one blueprint that contains all of them.
On an example image below we have a main model (just color) sword_001.qb
and a Specular (_s) material map for it - sword_001_s.qb
.
We drag the sword_001.qb
onto the devtool_dungeon_QB_to_blueprint.bat
and it creates sword_001.blueprint
that contains color+specular map.
Somewhat more detailed explanation can be found in our How to Get Started guide :) https://trovesaurus.com/page=3749/how-to-get-started-with-trove-creations#step-4-convert-to-blueprint
Hope it helps!
Hello!
Ah, the bow looking much more interesting compared to version one. Are you still aiming for the Dragonfire Peaks biome? With that light blue color it could probably fit better in Cursed or Permafost. You should be able to update the Biome if you Edit your creation.
I dont think we have something quite like the current design available in game, but it would be good to spice it up just a tiny bit more. You know, to give some 'wow' effect. Material maps can be really helpful with that. They are used to make voxels in Trove glow, shine like metal or be transparent like glass. You can find a guide to them over here > https://trove.fandom.com/wiki/Material_Map_Guide .
Please keep in mind that maps can not overlap, meaning if you map one voxel as Glowing on Type map - it can only use Default (rough) color on Specular map as the game does not render things like Glowing Metal and such.
It could also be good to bring those blue and grey colors together in some way. Smoother transaction between the colors in some places could really give the bow a finished look.
Im going to change status of your creation to Active for now, set it back to Needs Review once you upload an updated model. If you would rather create something completely different - you could change the status of this one to Draft. That will hide it from the public list and will free up a slot for another creation.
In any case, good luck!
Welcome to creations!
While this is a well crafted bow it might be a bit similar to some designs already in-game,

To make your bow stand out amongst them I suggest leaning in more to the lava/dragon theme of the fire peaks or changing it into a different theme, though you could do whatever you feel is best for your weapon.
Thank you for submitting and sending this back to active for now! ^^
