Solarion Build (July 2024)

Solarion build by Hyfae added 2 years ago.

This build was updated for
Rising Tides - Hotfix #1

Solarion has kept their ground for one of the best performing classes in the game. Although hard to obtain, their Kit provides great bursts of Damage with efficiency and consistency. Hence, this Build specializes in Fast Dungeon Clearance and Delve Progression, as most progress relies on these activities. Prioritizing stats such as Attack Speed, Movement Speed and Physical Damage allow you for a more efficient clearance. Knight Subclass provides extra Flask capacity (you'll be using them a lot), but can be replaced by Lunar Lancer or Bard for extra instantaneous damage output. This build can be adapted for Boss Farming by adjusting it to Critical Damage.

Physical Damage and Critical Damage obviously allow you for more overall Damage.
Light and Magic Find are also crucial.

Ally and Flasks

Animated Jug provides Light and Physical Damage, while also contributing to Sustain and Speed.
Compared to Jingles which adds for redundancy as you won't be needing cooldown reduction.

If you have Scorpius unlocked, use it (its an upgraded Animated Jug).

For the Emblems, Martial and Zealous are the go-to. Extra Damage is always welcome when it comes to Boss fights or even farming Leviathans.
And although Zealous is a bit hard to acquire, it is most essential for Solarion, as you'll be spamming Flasks to restore your Energy so Prismatic Blast stays active!
Death-Defying Vial is often portrayed as the lazy option, but for Solarion it is a must! Focusing on damage oriented stats sacrifices Maximum Health, so Death-Defying Vial will keep you from falling since every boss can potentially One-Shot you, even in late game. Overall, Death-Defying Vial allows you for better sustain and damage output.
Just don't let that flask count hit the 0!

Empowered Gems

Prismatic Link is Solarion's Class Gem, which lets you use Prismatic Blast constantly while you have Energy (hence why Zealous Emblem is so important!) This is a great Gem to have especially for Delves as you'll be sprinting through the caves while passively killing enemies!
Explosive Epilogue provides extended damage in a large area affecting the majority of enemies within it.
Pyrodisc adds to your Prismatic Blast, dealing continuous damage to enemies around you.
Berserk Battler has great synergy with Prismatic Link as continuous damage builds a Berserker state, greatly increasing Attack Speed and Light!

Prismatic Link Class Gem

Prismatic blast will now pulse around the Phoenix as well as the Solarion, allowing the Solarion to maintain range while attacking, and deal AOE damage around their Phoenix.

Explosive Epilogue

Killing enemies causes them to explode.

\n\nThis gem has a cooldown.

Pyrodisc

Killing an enemy has a chance to generate a flaming disc that damages nearby enemies.

This gem has a cooldown.

Berserk Battler Cosmic Gem

Damaging enemies causes a frenzied state, adding a small increase to attack speed and Light.

Continued damage to enemies extends the frenzied state until it causes a berserk state, greatly increasing attack speed and Light.

While building Solarion, make sure you always prioritize Light on your gems. Late-game difficulties require much of it for clearing dungeons, Leviathans and Bosses. General Tips: Aim for Stellar/Crystal Gems with 3 stars (600+/700+ initial PR). Converting Gems can be an option if you're failing to find good Crystal ones from d14+. Make sure you upgrade your Cosmic Gems first, as they provide Light. Always have a Torch as your banner and Freelance Electrolytic Crystals with you. While Forging your Gems, focus on moving your stat upgrades (pearls) to Physical Damage and Critical Damage and, of course, Light.
