If you play as a Neon Ninja, you'll need to learn how to throw your Shurikens. The shurikens are the most powerful weapon the Ninja has. Press L2 (on PS4 consoles) and preform a backflip. You throw the shurikens depending on how many rings are around you. Tips (Consoles)

You can throw up to three shurikens at once. You charge up your rings by attacking enemies, and one hit counts as one ring, stacking up to three. After you get your Class Gem, you throw a Hackstar, which changes from multiple shurikens to a hackstar that increases in size per ring. This hackstar can pierce enemies and provide the Stasis Blade effect (Stasis Blade is used by pressing R2 on PS4) which will stop enemies in their place.
