ABOUT THE PROJECT
The aim of the class art project is to create high quality art of a similar style for all the classes in the game. For this we had to choose a single artist, but that doesn't mean we don't love and want to support all the others.
ALYCIA'S NOTE
When the Candy Barbarian was chosen, I decided that I wanted to recreate one of my first Trove fan art pieces.

I kept a lot of my original design but added a few elements to make it more barbarian/viking-ish, like the cotton candy fur and the celtic knot detailing on her skirt! As always, I'm looking forward to the next class

It's really good but i feel like it lost the 'Trove' feel of it the older one, although not as good of a drawing, felt more like a trove fanart. very good drawing though.
Ehh... The art looks great, I would've liked it to be portrayed as a male though. Everything else looks great! I give it a 7/10.
Just like trove, the pictured Women Candy Warrior gets sexier with age. Love how Alycia's artist skills have really grown in the past couple years and it really shows in here work. Very creative and beautiful.
The donut on the belt was a great idea, the background looks cool, and overall is probably the best piece of class art done so far. Well done!!! Also i use CB so this is even better.
So much has improved! I love the detail and the overall look of the art. I love the Candy barbarian, and this makes me feel like there were genders to classes.
The style is very nice and soft and makes feel some type of "comfortable feeling", I also really enjoy the recreation of art.
I like how you took a good piece of original work and made it better. The doughnut makes it perfect.
Love how it still retains it's original design but with minor modifications. And the colour pallet is vibrant and lush. Would've love to see some candy themed make up on her hair like a pin or something just to add a touch of cuteness. But that's just me
Everyone has their own thought on if the Candy Barbarian is a Male or Female, but it looks good either way. This art looks fantastic overall with so much colors. Just looking at it makes me want to eat a doughnut now... xD
Awesome, way better than my entry for the contest... This is my favorite class art yet, I can't wait to see the rest :D
As a bonus, it also happens to look almost the exact same way I imagined the CB :P
You can definitely see the improvement, I wonder how good Alycia will be in another year or so...
Well, I can't say I was expecting something like this, and it's clearly really detailed and well made, but somehow I can't relate my overall idea of the CB with hers. Needless to say, creativity is the key, and she's totally got it, but I have to admit that I like her other works best. Anyway, this one's still great, so keep up the good work!
Wow, the updated one is excedingly detailed. Yet somehow the older version is my fav. Maybe the look on her face like she ate way to much of the land seems about right.
It is such a huge improvement from her original design, you can see that her design choice has changed since then, and changing the weapons and belt piece was a really nice touch. It screams more Candy Barbarian and the hair looks really nice, like a mix between light cotton candy and bubblegum. Every inch of her outfit is clearly candy inspired and I love it!
I really like this one becouse of the "muscular barbarian woman" style, which i learned to love from Diablo III. Reminds me a little of it. For my taste the weapons could be a little more clunky, like axes or actual Lolly-Maces. You can definitely see the development from the early one to the new one. Although the hair is completely different, way curlier, and the stomach-free amor suits her less (in my opinion). But one question i got here is: I get that you need to recognize its a Candy-Barb but why is noone ever drawing costumes ?
