    [content] => On another note, I think *every* error in the game should be published far and wide for everyone to see and take advantage of. Perhaps then the Trove team might actually start doing something about the myriad errors, bugs, glitches, etc. in the game.

Instead of defending them for the shockingly poor way this game is handled, perhaps we should start ridiculing them publicly instead!

That is the definition of a hack, not an exploit. An exploit would be classified as anything in the game which is not intended that the player is able to gain an advantage from. Your confusion might be that sometimes injecting software *allows* for exploits, though it's not always the case.

            [content] => It's not an exploit, it's an error on the part of the Trove Devs. An exploit would be a piece of software or code that someone has injected into the game to allow this to happen and then that person has used that to exploit the game. If the Trove team cannot code things properly to avoid such instances and players take advantage of it, the onus is on the Trove team to fix it. You cannot blame players for using the game in a manner that the game allows, whether or not anyone deems it "right or wrong"

And yes, the same can be said for *all* instances of similar occurrences. If anyone is deliberately manipulating the game through the use of external scripts and commands, cheat engines, etc. then of course that is exploiting and players should be sanctioned for it. But, if anyone uses something in-game that gives them an advantage then the team behind the game are at fault for allowing it in the first place and should immediately work toward rectifying it if they deem it unfair or unintended.

    [content] => I get where you're coming from but if that's the case, then why do we put up with this crap from Trove? I mean, they put that rule in the game to punish players for their own errors yet we, as players, have very little recourse when our gameplay experience is diminished because Trove either cannot, or will not pay more attention to the game itself and fix everything that's broken with it. As Sly said before, this game has been a mess even before Gamigo acquired it. Surely, in 2022, you'd think that by now they would have done something to get it running properly and iron out many of the bugs.

But nope, people will still insist on defending Gamigo and Trove. How many other games would we put up with this type of incompetence from? I daresay that number is incredibly small!

*EDIT*  300RTT is most definitely not a good sign! And that's just the start, before you've even moved your character by a single pixel!

Everyone understands your point of view, but if this server is nothing but direct criticism to everything in the game it is just going to result in the gamigo team members that are here either not wanting to interact or leaving. Venting frustration is fine but you still need to show a level of respect towards them. Saying how much you hate everything about the way they operate will not suddenly make them give 200% all the time.

    [content] => I feel your thoughts seem to come from a perspective of directive towards "a group of close developers all working on a project they are passionate for with complete creative freedom to contribute to whatever part of the game they want to when they want to" which is why they appear to fall on deaf ears.

A much more perspicacious perspective might be "a company of developers who *may* not all *really really* love what they are doing, may not be super close to or care for everyone they work with, are given constant tasks to work on (which they may not want to do) with accompanying deadlines and strict requirements, and as a result may not have someone in every dev division of the game with enough motivation to utilize their free time trying to work on/improve something - or reach out to someone able to do such a thing - which would not have an effect on their paycheck".
