    [content] => well if i'm not misremembering that alpha patchnote, it should be easy enough to patch rings to not allow pearls and just strip the pearls on login

    [content] => back when c4 gear was released on pts it also got retroactively updated stats, maybe just that was a safe net from devs incase it wouldn't update existing, for whatever reason
