Despite being a robot, Datamosh has always had a fascination with biology. Specifically, they prefer to work with the dead, and being a machine hasn't stopped them from putting their lot in with studying necromancy. Their robotic nature means that they are immune to the diseases that corpses tend to carry, and this has allowed them to get more creative and hands-on with their thralls than fleshy humans or thin-fingered skeletals.

Others may find them cold, or even callous, but they do genuinely care for those that are still alive, sick, or dying. They just simply see death as another part of the ecosphere, a necessary process that enables more life to flourish; and after they are done with their undead companion's service, they make sure they are laid to rest.
