The Dracolyte can be played one of three main ways; either as a pure damage dealer, tank, or somewhere in between.
While most will play inbetween (perhaps not knowing, and thinking they're playing as a tank) there are other ways.

A pure damage dealer Dracolyte is both common and extremely rare. Most new players will say that Dracolyte is meant to be played
this way, but few people actually do, leaning in favor of tankier builds. In the end, they can still be valuable team members if built right.
For an ally, you will want either Chronomancer Qubesly or Prowling Shadow. While the dark feline is known as "Dracolyte's only ally" Qubesly
can still be quite potent, as the damage and the cooldown reduction both help your damage and sustain.
Of course, Prowling is also a strong option, granting far more survivability instead of damage.
For flask emblems, Arcane is a neccessary one, granting double damage. For the other, you have a large selection.
Vampiric can be highly helpful, especially when you aren't using Prowling. Chrono allows cooldown reduction, pairing well with Qubesly.
Alternatively, Unyielding works well with Prowling to regenerate safely. Or maybe even Sorcerous Servant, for a bit more added damage.

With over 100k hp and the ability to instantly regenerate it all after a few seconds of using your flamethrower, it's easy to see
why people love the tank Dracolyte. Easily the best overall tank (though after you run out of flasks, you're doomed) you can easily
survive anything that doesn't kill you in one shot. Prowling Shadow is pretty much required for this, as it allows you to regenerate
2% of your health per hit. For those of you wondering, that means you regenerate somewhere between 5-10% per second.
Emblems are pretty easy for a tank. You want Vampiric to turn 5-10% into 20% per second, and either Arcane for a bit of damage
or Unyielding for even more damage reduction.

Often called "Bruisers" living in between pure damage and pure health, an in between Dracolyte can utilize both sides and still be valuable.
Their main usage is to be consistant damage dealers, not quite as much damage as a pure damage and not quite as much health as a tank,
but survives longer than a pure damage and deals more damage than a pure tank. While Chronomancer could possibly be used, it's hard
to turn down Prowling, especially when sustain is concerned. For emblems, there isn't really any sure emblem; take your pick
from the ones i've mentioned above, though some are more useful than others: Vampiric, of course, is very good.

Hopefully this guide helped you decide your path, and maybe help you figure out what to do with your already chosen path.
Either way, goodbye.
