For those who missed the stream, you can catch that here!

Hosted by:

  • Robin (Twixler)
  • Adam (Decoy_Trion)
  • Keetsie (Junebug)
  • Kumar (Atronos)

Sugar Glider:

  • It'll be in this upcoming week's chaos chest as rare loot but there will be other way(s) to get it in the future.

Double Chaos Factor:

  • 2 Chaos Chests per Chaos Factor from August 25th through September 1st
  • Chaos factor is obtained from Mastery 100, Max Mastery, very rare chaos coin drops from chaos chests, chaos coins obtained from stream, and 2 points from patron

Dragons:

  • Ancient Dragon progression coming September 1st
  • Ancient Dragonling (ally); 5 attack speed, 4 movement speed, reduces cooldowns by 10%, damaging enemies has a chance to blast them with fire
  • Ancient Fledgling
  • Ancient Dragon
  • Legendary Dragon; Trimarch the Ancient
  • Neon Dragon souls will be craftable (as you mentioned) but they also stated that it will not take 50 robotic salvage like the Aluzian souls need 50 glacial shards to craft, and will likely need 15-25 salvage

Lunar Lancer

  • Mouse 2 ability throws a spear, then second click allows you to grapple to its location. There's also an additional moon explosion for when the spear hits and also when you land (with the grapple).
  • Ultimate buff zone increases energy + health regeneration for other players
  • Movement away from previously shown large armored golem lancer due to it not being in theme with the lancer's agility and mobility
  • Lunar Lancer will be released with the Shadow Tower update, which is coming September 15th

Shadow Tower:

  • Shadow Tower UI accessed using a placed object in the club world, will choose from different boss portraits, uses keys to open
  • Format will be several shadow dungeons/arenas and then boss (currently 4x stages -> boss)
  • Each boss will have a limited reward (once/week) + other standard rewards/rare drops such as the "Titan Soul"

Other:

  • Regarding featured clubs, I believe the ones features this week were Patagonia, Architect Apocalypse (Tabula Rasa was the terraformer used), Red Rescue Team, Six Beers Deep, No Game No Life, Edge of Abyss, Woodshire, and Strangeland
  • Combat system for Shadow Tower bosses will be more complex than just a standard boss + affixes, but the affix system will also still be developed/expanded on (such as different affixes in different difficulties)

Next Week

Choas Chest
Flying Squirrel

  • Glides like dragon
  • Looks like a rat

x2 Chaos Factor Points
EX: Patron give 2 Coas Factor Points, giving 2 chests daily. Next week you will recieve 4 chests daily (Woot).

Neon Dragon
(?) Last Week for Neon Dragon Caches until the new dragon. Once new dragon is up the neon dragon souls will still be able to be made. The recipe will be 1 coin, a golden soul, and some robotic salvage for the craftable Neon souls, yields 3 souls. (Information provided by Onager, thank you!)

Ancient Dragon
Will be released after next week.

  • Color: Red
  • Has Grayish White Beard

I don't think they mentioned anything about stats...

Preview

Lancer

  • Physical Damage
  • M1: Stabby
  • M2: Spear throw, second click is grappling hook.
  • 1: Combo which knocks up enemies
  • Special (2): (Wasn't shown) Huge spear comes down, damaging enemies and makes a buff zone.
  • Passive: Buff Meter. He becomes a huge character of himself with buffs ofc. (Reminds me of Gnar).
  • Those who saw the data mining post about a huge golem, they decided to move away from that.
  • Dance:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shadow Towers
They didn't show anything about shadow towers, but they did mention a couple things.

  • Shadow Bosses are animation heavy and animation driven and they say it's probably going to be the boss everybody has been asking for.
  • Rewards: BIG reward once per week
  • Small rewards that you can get as many times as you run it.
  • Other drops as well.

Answered Questions

Class balances?
The team wants to create a big update for old classes at one time and not separately, this may be changed though and they said to take it "as a grain of salt".

Will we always be able to craft Azulian Souls?
Yes, we will always be able to craft Azulian Souls.

Will Auras do damage?
Auras will stay asthetics at this time and will not deal damage. Ex: Lighting Aura will not deal lighting damage and will not appear to strike mobs.

Will there be a chance to hide the aura?
Yes in the future.

Is it possible to defeat all bosses in the Shadow Tower?
When open shadow portal you will see a bunch of boss portraits. -----(missed info sorry).
Don't have anything to show us right now.

Can we get a small set of subtle vfx that could possibly be attached to deco through an easy process?

This is a great suggestion and something I have wanted to experiment with for some time now. There is no time estimate available, as it is still on my, "Things I Would Like to Explore" list, but I think builders could get much use out of "placeable" effects, and decoration items with animated effects attached. I think it could be a good way for players to place ambient effects, such as falling leaves or fireflies, in their bases and cornerstones, too!

Ideally, we would make these items "fool-proof" rather than relying on a guide describing their proper use. Perhaps a limit on how many of these items you can place in an area would be a good solution, as well as a short draw distance. We don't want to risk people tanking their framerate by introducing too many particle effects in their club worlds.

Again, no promises, and certainly nothing soon. But it's something I would like to actively explore.
