I realise it can be intimidating to be in contests with some exceptionally talented people, and since I was unable to fulfil my desire for rewards for all participants I added a random draw for each contest as well as the top draw.

This should help include people, but also I've been considering doing contests based on "badly drawn" concepts. Where people don't have to make a super effort as it's meant to be rough to engage people.
